This is so easy to set up after the initial charge . It's easy to navigate for my 11 yr old and fast charging. The monthly cost was affordable. The watch does have steps tracking, GPS, and text monitoring that is on point with letting you know what's going on . This has freed my mind of worry when I am not able to be home or while my kid is playing outdoors with friends. Love it. Get it now!!

I'm really pleased with the Bark Watch. It's very easy to use, and I appreciate the built-in safety features - no internet or social media access, the ability to track location, and control over contacts. The texting feature can be a bit tricky due to the tiny keyboard, but my son works around it by sending audio messages instead. The included watch band isn't the most durable- it broke fairly quickly - but we were able to find stronger replacement bands at a low cost. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it for kids in mid-to-late elementary school.

This is a great watch for our 8 yr old. We saw a video reviewing 7 other watches and this one was the best overall for geofencing, battery life, sos calls, and sound. It is a bit pricy compared to others but I love the security of them monitoring text and calls that we pay for. If you are concerned about your child with technology usage and who they are texting or calling, then please get this watch as you will get alerts when things are concerning. The battery life is okay, it does seem to run out after a day, but our child then has the responsibility of charging it. It does not have games, apps, or the web, which we prefer. Overall, we are pleased with this watch.

Works as described: Calling, texting our son after school, keeping tabs on location through GPS... My son even started keeping track of his steps, which is a feature that motivates him... Set up was straight forward & uncomplicated... Battery life could be better... No available App on Android/Google Store, but hopefully that'll change in the near future.....

I haven't been able to compare with similar products, but so far my child has had this watch for a few days and there are a few things that we've noticed. Pros - It functions as advertised. No apps, call and text features. Camera/video. Location tracking and activity monitoring. It is what we wanted for my eleven-year-old. Cons - Battery life is really poor. The watch is close to dead by the end of the school day. The location tracker is not very accurate. We'll be at home and my wife will get alerts that my child has left the house when he hasn't. The watch is not super durable. My child already made a sizeable scratch on the body of the watch. Finally the app is not very intuitive. My wife set it up for my child. When she sent me a link to also monitor his watch I had to make a separate account and then it won't let me access his activity unless I sign up for a trial for an additional paid tier. They should make both parents signing up to monitor the watch much easier. Overall it does what we need it to, but the product can be much better. As this is the first iteration of the watch, I'm considering returning it until a better version is released.

We're 2 weeks in, and so far so good! The initial set up took me a little longer than I expected. We were out of town (it was the holidays) and it let me connect to the hotel wifi, but then it wouldn't complete the set up. I realized that hotel wifi you generally have to go onto a website and authenticate, and that was the issue. The watch was showing connected to Wifi, but it wasn't full connected. I decided to try and connect it to the Wifi on my phone hotspot where you just need a password and it worked immediately -- so ended up User Error, but when I had been trying for 15-20 minutes to figure out what was wrong, there wasn't a good way I could find to contact Bark to troubleshoot. My DD loves the step counter. She also loves setting reminders for herself -- like, it's time to read today. Phone and text connections seem good and parent app is good. Got a first alert because her uncle (that I set up as a contact) didn't have her number yet and replied with "Who is this". That was flagged as an alert for suspicious content. But, loved having that visibility. Overall -- pleased and would recommend.
