I use chalkboards for homeschooling my children. I draw lots of pictures to illustrate lessons using colored chalk. This board fit nicely in the space I had available (I have three boards now :). The surface of this board is very smooth and the writing shows up nicely as well as the colors. The board also erases cleanly, even when using the colored chalk. The price is great for a magnetic board which have smoother and nicer surfaces than the composite boards. The board itself is light and easy to hang (I actually strung a ribbon through the I-hooks and have it hanging off a picture hanger so I can easily take it down when needed). I am (obviously) happy with my purchase.

Been looking for a magnetic chalkboard (not dry erase - a good old fashioned chalkboard) for my new kitchen. This one is the perfect size and very nice quality. The price makes it a great value too.

We bought this for our granddaughter who loves to sit and draw and I am sure we will get a lot of great use out of it.
