Great emergency radio Everyone should have one

Great little radio for camping/emergency use. This uses batteries, has lithium battery pack, solar panel for charging on board lithium battery pack, and can charge your cell phone, too. Used on several camping/back-packing trips and during some power outages. Worked Great. Definitely recommend. I bought two of these and gave one to my son and he said it worked great on his camping trip with his daughters.

Rare to find such good quality & value for money. Surprisingly robustly made, solid feel for its size and weight (which I like, compact and handy). All functions worked well on arrival, though obviously can’t judge durability after only an hour’s use. Cranking to charge it is rewarded fairly quickly, though it would be easier still if the handle were placed differently, as the natural place to hold the item with your left hand (while cranking with your right) tends to activate the on-off switch. The only other slight negative is that the SOS alarm is no more medium loud in volume, might be heard through a couple of closed doors inside, but doubt it would be from outside a house, though the flashing lights would obviously help in the dark. Otherwise a great emergency item, highly recommended.
