FELIX As Good As it Looks Senior 7+ Wet Cat Food Mixed Selection in Jelly Beef, Salmon, Chicken, Tuna 40 x 85g Pouches

My cat has been on this cat food since he was 7. This cat food as far as i am concerned is the best i could get. It has lots of good things in it that keep your cats coat healthy and his tummy healthy it has omega oil and prebiotics which keep your cats coat in good condition i still given his this even although he has early kidney disease. I did try the special cat foods but he would not eat them Its gas lots of different flavours. Each box will have foor different flavours i give him the same flavour for 2 days and change it to another flavour for 2 days its a good price the box i buy has 40 little pouches.

Being honest, I've never really paid any attention to the age thing when buying cat food. But my cat has made it clear that his once beloved biscuits are a bigger effort (or less palatable?) to eat these days; he's now a very sprightly 14 years old. He tends to ignore a bowl with only biscuits and goes back to sit we keep the meat pouches whining pitifully until we give in. So these days he gets his biscuits mixed in with meat. He's not overly fussy, so long as it's a decent quality, so we do tend to buy from good brands and from Amazons own brand. But I haven't specifically bought him cat food designed for his age group. This was a decent price though which is why it ended up in his bowl this month. I'm pretty impressed with this senior Felix offering. Minimal cat food odour, and plenty of meat with the usual jelly coating around it. The meat looks appetisingly stranded, more like proper meat as opposed to the cubes of reconstituted mechanically obtained meat you often find in cat food. It's shredded so minimal chewing; I guess that senior cat teeth would approve. As would senior cats missing a few teeth, as tends to happen sometimes. Our cat likes this every bit as much as standard cat meat pouches which is important. It's easy to mix in with his biscuits and he likes it as a stand alone food (of course). I'm not sure if there's a greater calorific content compared to standard cat food as I haven't scrutinised the nutritional content but I feel confident that this reputable brand will have formulated the nutritional content for the older digestive system. I'll keep a careful eye on his weight though.

I bought this for my elderly cat, who has the attitude of a retired aristocrat and the appetite of a small lion. I can confirm that FELIX As Good As it Looks Senior 7+ has officially been approved by Her Majesty of the Living Room. From the moment I opened the first pouch, I was judged. A long stare. A cautious sniff. Then absolute chaos. She devoured it like she hadn’t been fed since 2007. Went like hot cakes and always get that meow whenever I pass her as if to saywants some more. Great value for money decent size and quality. Apperance is decent and looks edible good variety. Pros: My cat loves it No leftovers, ever Overall, if your senior cat deserves to eat like royalty while you slowly lose authority in your own home, this is the one.
