Fit perfect

This was super easy to install and retains the Odyssey's hood support rod as intended.

2005 Accord application. One of the black bushings fit. Here's how to install. 1. Select the correct bushing for your car: You want the bushing that fits over your size rod. That seems to be the difference between the two. 2. Boil some water. Or heat it in the microwave. I used water from a kettle. 3. Drop the black bushing into the water for 2-3 minutes. This makes the plastic pliable enough so it can pop in the hole. 4. Take the bushing out of the water and while it's still warm, pop it into the hole on the frame of the car. 5. Insert your hood prop into the bushing. 6. Crack open a beer for a job well done. Then another? Maybe 3? You're welcome.

It comes with two black plastic pieces to hold the stick in to the frame and one white piece. My car is accord 2015. But all of two pieces were too big for the hole(pun not intended). I could not fit the one with 8 legs. It just didn't go in. Luckily, the other one with 4 legs barely made into the hole. But I had to remove 2 legs in order to fit it in.

My 1987 Honda Accord was missing the Hood Prop Rod Holder Clip when I bought it. This worked perfectly and solved my problem. Just had to cut one of the black grommets on one side to slide it onto the Rod and then installed it. Holds up perfectly!

Does not fit as described. Cheap plastic cracks and won’t fit OEM prop rod.

All pieces fit nicely and firmly on the vehicle. Highly recommend as replacements if needed, for the small cost.
