I received the bear river gun with no manual on the proper use of the weapon. After figuring out how to load and add the air canister I found the gun very inaccurate. I completed at least one hundred shots and only was in the bulls eye twice. I am not that bad even if I had kept my eyes shut? To make things worst the air canister now leaks so that I could only get a small amount of use out of it.I'm sure the manufacturer intended that this would not happen but after I complained the best I got was an email saying that they were sorry. By now you can guess that I can not recommend this purchase,

This pellet rifle is well made,accurate, easy to operate and just loads of fun. My only issue is that I would like to have more than one magazine to use and when I asked bear river customer service if the crossman speed loader magazines worked in their mx1000 they replied try and see, we'll they don't work folks, and bear river would not let me know if I could even purchase more ,I know asking for another magazine was out of question, that would have allowed me to give a 5star rating, so disappointed...2nd review, after 2 mos of use Co2 cartridge leaks out in 2 days,you can actually hear it leaking. Bear river wants to charge me for return shipping. Is there an O-ring that will fix this problem,does anyone one have a solution??other than leak, I love this rifle,Wish bear river would help me so I could rave about how pleased I'd be with this rifle.

The CO2 does not sit well and you can’t seem to get a cartridge to seal all the way. Leaks out and therefore wastes moneyIt fires true with great velocity

Put 1 of the lg CO2 cartridges in, took 3 shots to sight it in, the next am all the gas leaked out of the cartridge. Rechecked, cartridge was in as hand tight as possible. Great gun, would buy again if they fix the seal problem. Many other reviews say the same thing...

How do you keep from leaking the co2 over all it like it shoots good

I don't own this particular air rifle but do own many others and this keeps them from leaking Put a couple of drops Crosman Pellgun oil on the tip of your CO2 cartridge (the end that screws into gun) to help prevent leaks. Any CO2 powered gun will leak if not properly lubricated. You may have already damage your seal if you've tightened it too much though.
