I've searched for years to find the right high quality paper towel holder. And finally, I found it! I like that it is a solid, beautiful addition to my counter. It's heavy duty, weighty and works as it should. There's no moving around. The finish is glossy, but not overly done. And I get only the length of towel I want. My goal was to find a holder that works great, would last for years and compliment any decor. It's just what I'd hoped to find. Plus, I found it so helpful that I plan to buy more. I want one to keep with my cleaning supplies on each floor. I waste so much paper relying on myself. Plus, having a nice area with everything together makes cleaning feel a loss daunting and chaotic. As you can see, I love this purchase and definitely recommend it.Note: Other holders highlight how you have more control over movement of the roll and how they've put special things on the bottom to hold it place. If you want a lightweight holder, those features would be very important. However, I compared those types at Homegoods. They were made of a very, very light metal which would be easy to ding or bend. Plus, almost all would allow the roll to spin out of control. I didn't realize just how fragile and unhelpful they would be to use. Therefore, I wanted to recommend checking out the various models at your local store as well. I found my trip very eye-opening and hope this advice is helpful in your own search.

Bright red is pretty . It compliments my kitchen with all the red kitchen gadgets I have . Love it!

Great appearance, well made, heavy for stability. I would give it 5 stars if it had 4 legs (feet) instead of 3! 4 would be more stable, as it tends to tip over when tearing off a sheet of paper.

I didn’t want it to be lightweight, not sure why I was supposed to read that highly. But it’s not super heavy either it’s functional and good. This is the perfect paper towel holder for my red kitchen.

Very well made paper towel holder. The cast iron edges are smooth and painted well. The decorative finial on top is the perfect size for the paper towel tube to fit over. No unscrewing it for refills! The durable holder will last while looking good. I really like mine.
