I first tried Ethiopian food in Orlando FL (shout out to Nile Resuraunt!) , and I've been absolutely jonesing for it ever since! Unfortunately for me, I live in a state where there aren't any restaurants specializing in this wonderful cuisine. I also did not know much about how it was made or what spices were needed. This company was a godsend, and I absolutely loved this niter kibeh. I've been able to make my own dorowat and injera with success thanks to them! Everything came well packaged. I've also bought a ton of spices and teff flour from them and everything was delicious. Highly reccommend!

The taste and aroma is authentic. I do refrigerate it because I don't want niter kibbeh on my hands. Would rather scoop how much I need and heat it on the oven to melt. I use it for certain Ethiopian dishes and for making a paste with berbere (also from Brundo). This brand is of the highest quality and I've been a customer for many years now.

I don't think the jars have the greatest seal because mine seems to be slowly leaking when I opened the package i didnt lose much butter but I gave 4 stars because it smells really good. I bought to make Doro wat and was afraid I was buying regular ghee.

Delicious. It took a long time to ship but it was worth the wait. I made an amazing alicha wot with it and it was a huge hit with the family. This is a generous portion and I have plenty left for tibs. Will buy again

Comes in a jar that is not sealed nor is it a "pop top" lid. Mine had an a slight sour smell and appeared to have an odd looking white fungus. I almost never ever give bad reviews. I'm sorry to have to give this a poor review but food items that are not properly sealed cannot be trusted and just simply are not safe. It's better to just make your own clarified spiced butter at home or buy from the store. I made homemade a long time ago and it was great. I bought this one to try it out. Go to social media and you'll find several chef's who show you how to make spiced butter. Purchase if you want, just be aware that it's not arriving in a sealed jar. I tossed the jar in the trash. Better to be safe than sorry.

We use this mainly for kinfolk and it works well for that. It really makes a difference if you done have the herbed ghee. This arrived in good condition, no issues. Will buy again.

It has the highly desired authentic Ethiopian Kebbe (butter). I will be purchasing this products in the future!
