This magical cap somehow keeps my edges protected from my wreckless/aggressive face washing. It seems like the front band would keep you from being able to wash your forehead (lol) but it doesn't, there is room under to slip your hands under and get underneath - still without getting to your edges. I don't know how they did it but they did. I never have to worry about any of my hair escaping from the back, side, ears, and especially at the hairline. Also handy to turn inside out for deep conditioning. I don't sweat my hair out (African American hair) under the cap when showering, my 'kitchen' stays dry, and it doesn't get too 'steamy' under either. I wish it came in more (prettier) colors / patterns bc I'm all for glam/girlie looks but the cap is so good I don't care how I look in it. :) Only complaint is that it's uncomfortable at times at the ears when I'm wearing earrings. Gotta pick a lane - over, under, or on top of ears bc it's tighter in that area. Not a big enough complaint to not use it though. I just adjust it as needed. Hope this helps someone decide. It's worth a try honestly. Great as a gift giving idea too.

I waited a while after receiving this before writing a review because I wanted to see if mold would be an issue. I'm happy to say that, after several months of use, there isn't a speck of mold to be found on it. It's made of the best materials and the craftsmanship is top notch. The elastic at the neck is comfortable, and the terry cloth liner covers the elastic so there's no discomfort , and no getting your hair caught in it. The shower cap keeps the water from your hair. There are no elastic impressions on your forehead afterward because the design prevents it. It's the best shower cap I've ever used - well worth the price!

I have had many shower caps and always had to replace them within 1-2 years. The elastic would wear out inevitably and it never seemed to dry which led to funky smells from mold. Not what you went eat your hair. I’ve had this for two years now and it’s still looks brand new. I love that it had terry in the inside so that it keeps water away from your hair and it actually dries. The elastic is still snug and shows no signs of breaking down. 10/10 would recommend. It’s definitely worth the money not having to replace all the time.

Good quality! It’s a little hard to get on. A little tight. It does keep my hair dry but I really have to mess my hair up to put it on.

This is a fine enough shower cap, it lasts about a year before the elastic goes, even with regular wash it unfortunately does smell mildewy which is gross. But so far it’s the best shower cap I’ve tried. Fine to spend $19 on it if I have to buy a new one every year but now it’s almost $40? Does somebody at the company want to explain why the exact same shower cap has doubled in price? Inflation has gotten to all of us but doubling the price for the exact same product is absolutely insane and messed up to your customers.

I have worn these shower caps for several years. The fit tightly, have a terry cloth liner, but are not uncomfortable. Added bonus is that they are machine washable. Colors are good too.

I was so disappointed when i opened the package. The band that shows in the ad looks as if it extends all the way around the cap and would make a shower cap at least a good risk to spend over $25.00 on in the (as yet unfruitful) search to find a shower cap that would keep ALL of my hair dry in the shower. I have purchased many over the last several years, and have yet to find one that keeps my hair dry at the hair line in back. The front lip of this cap looked as if it might be snug as a band and run all the way around the cap. It does neither. Its just fabric without even elastic inside it and it goes only partially around the cap. Better than a $5.00 cap probably, but still allows my hair to get wet at the hairline in back as it is just elastic and fabric like any less expensive cap. I hope this saves someone else the $. As to the manufacturer; just showing that lip/band from the front seems deliberately deceitful to me. I hope that is not the case. If someone would just make a cap that kept all of your hair completely dry, including the hairline in back, you'd probably be able to charge $30-35.00 for it!

I found this shower cap to be very effective at keeping my hairline dry. And it was easy to put on over my very thick hair. I cannot speak to how well it washes up in the laundry as I've just used it once so far. It seems very well made.

I never thought that I would fall for a Dragon's Den product pitch and yet here I am three years later, with my first cap intact and two offered to my mother-in-law and to my best friend as presents. I mostly use it with the blue dot side touching my scalp, to keep hair treatments and henna in. It makes me look like a fancy chef, keeps the mess out of my chair and clothes and helps it penetrate much better. I have washed the cap both by hand and on a warm program, and it comes out perfect every time. Really comfortable too.

En mi caso me quedó muy bien pero mi cabeza es pequeña. Para secarla después de usarla yo dejo expuestas ambas partes y trato de secarla porque guarda mucho la humedad y puede oler mal. También la lavo regularmente en mi lavadora y con la secadora a temperatura baja. Ha durado mucho y no tiene ningún defecto.
