Let's get this straight - I don't exercise. I got this out of curiosity and on the off chance it may help recover after a night out. The tub comes well sealed and once you manage to get into it, you will lose some of the quite expensive powder trying to get the little measurer out. At this point you will get a very strong smell of the flavour, and as I really like citrus flavours this is a good thing. The directions say one 5g scoop per 0.5 litre. So I didn't think the flavour would come through even with such a strong smell. But I was wrong. It's a subtle flavour with an aftertaste of salt. I don't mind salt, so that's not an issue and, for me, the flavour is quite pleasant. And did it help with hangovers..... well, yes, it does seems to reduce the duration and intensity. There are other things out there that are better. Irn Bru - the recipe they don't make anymore - was always the best. But this is pretty good. A tad pricey though. Maybe I'll take up exercise.......

Item received in good condition in a small branded tub. Firstly the tub is much smaller than it looks on the images advertising it. That said when making the drink it comes with a handy scoop that provides the perfect amount you require. One scoop and 500ml of water and then you need to really mix and stir this well. You can smell the lemon/lime flavour as you do this mixing part. It leaves you with a glass full of water that looks like you have dishwater, its very cloudy grey in colour. On taking a mouthful I found the taste of lemon/lime but mixed with a saltiness that makes it very difficult to drink it. It really is a little too much. I tried taking a big mouthful but just couldn't swallow it and ended up taking tiny sips. I could not finish my glass and managed about half way. Other family members that tried it could only manage a few sips. I like the look of it and the packaging etc but I just really struggled to actually drink it.

A highly effective hydrating powder that provides three essential electrolytes. Very pleasant smell and a very natural taste of orange and lime. Dissolves very quickly in water. Does not leave a powdery taste at all. Comes with a scoop for easy measuring. Just one scoop in 500ml of water. The scoop handle is very long but don’t cut it short. You’ll need the handle to scoop out the remnants of the powder towards the end. Great value for money.

While the price may be higher than the tablet alternatives which I'm used to, the quality and effectiveness justifies the investment, and I'd definitely buy more of this.
