which one makes the best spanking paddle?

I received a few a few wooden spoon spankings, the more surface area on the spoon will hurt less but leave a lasting impression. These younger generatins probably shouldve been spanked more, and then counseled by thier parents about how to do better next time. No discipline equals brats.

Are these spoons all natural wood or do they have any king of stain or finish to them? Any kind of chemicals used in the manufacture?

These spoons are 100% natural wood. Each single spoon is cut from a whole log of wood, we do not glue, do not stain and do not coat them. They are 100% pure, natural wood.

Can I just use olive oil on them? Would it work as well as mineral oil?

Thank you for your good question. There are two opinions regarding which oil to apply on wooden spoons. One school of thought is to use oils which are stable and not go rancid, like mineral oil or walnut oil or almond oil. The opposite school of though is to use any cooking oil is fine because if you cook often, you will continuously renew/oil your wood utensils and therefore the oil will never get to sit in your utensils long enough to go rancid. If you think you will use that wood spoon very often, then you can use cooking oil. Otherwise, mineral oil is probably safer bet.

Does the turner/spatula work on stainless pans? Like egg fries?

Since these utensils are wooden, they are great on metal pans without worrying about scratching them. Just make sure to oil/wax the wooden tools prior to using them to create a barrier of protection from the wood absorbing any food particles. Mineral oil is the best known common product to use on wooden cooking utensils. You can Google to seek other alternatives like bees wax, etc..

Love the product. No finish on them so healthy. I am phasing out plastic utensils so these are a nice looking and safer alternative. Plus they are better for the environment. Great value and made in the Ukraine. Well worth the wait. I would buy them as a gift in the future.
