Botanic Hearth Coconut & Zinc Pyrithione Hair Oil 6.7 fl oz

I got this for my wife to use on our kids' hair. So far so good. She likes the oil. It's easy to apply. It has a nice scent and doesn't have a greasy feel when done applying. A lot of the oil ingredients are great for hair and scalp health. She said she has noticed improved hair health and hair growth for them. Overall, she is happy with it and so am I.

For starters I’m big on holistic hair care so I’m so excited about this. I’ve had zinc in hair vitamins but neverrrrr in hair care, never even thought of it lol. But wow For starters zinc is soooo good for scalp health and hair growth. And keeping your hair strands strong Its effective at treating dandruff by reducing the amount of fungus on the scalp and stopping flaking. It’s effective in treating mild cases of seborrheic dermatitis, a skin condition that causes flaking, redness, and itchiness. Treating psoriasis It can help maintain psoriasis. Reducing hair loss It can help reduce hair loss by removing DHT from the scalp. It Reduces sebum production, which can reduce the risk of clogged pores and breakouts. And so much more. So I’ll def be back with a update but keep in mind I don’t just use this I use other holistic hair conditioners, Masks and vitamins. It’s a light weight oil that didn’t leave my hair all greasy And best of all it came with two types of nozzles. Well technically 3 cause of the main cap it came with, It came with the straight hair nozzle that most oils come with and a comb type of nozzle which I love. I love this brand !!!!

I use now and have used in the past, a number of facial oils and hair oils. I am a fan of both, and use them daily. This particular oil (the label says it's the coconut variety) is one that I have mixed feelings about. Other reviewers have said that it has helped various scalp and hair conditions. I actually have a very healthy scalp and healthy, shiny hair, so perhaps what you want in a product determines whether or not you will like this. It does contain good oils, many of which I either currently use or have used in the past. I think this is a good quality product. It's just not one that I will order again, given that it simply doesn't work for me as well as other products I have used, including just plain argan oil, which is one of the ingredients in this oil combination.. I can't put my finger on the smell of this oil. It doesn't have added fragrance, so it can't be something artificial (not that it smells like someone purposely tried to make it fragrant). Maybe it's the particular combination of oils, or perhaps it's my overly sensitive sense of smell, but this one bothers me a little. And I like other natural oil smells (moringa is amazing). The smell doesn't dissipate right away, either -- I actually ended up putting a light fragrance on my hair, to cover the smell of this oil. So although I think it has helped others, I don't think this one is for me.

The smell is kind of too much and no noticeable difference on my hair. But it’s an average hair oil I suppose.

Extra: This oil could be an interesting option to try as a natural mosquito or bug repellent, especially since coconut oil can act as a barrier and carrier for insect-repelling essential oils. I plan to test it this summer at the lake to see how well it works!

I purchased this coconut oil with zinc in it for my teenaged son to use. He has a dry, itchy scalp and does get dandruff. I showed him how to apply this oil to his hair and suggested that he use it at least 2 or 3 times a week before washing his hair. The coconut oil is so good for nourishing and hydrating the hair and scalp and I know zinc helps minimize dandruff. This oil also makes his natural-black hair have a beautiful shine! Within the first week of using this just a few times, he said he could noticeably feel much less itchiness at his scalp and could see a reduction in dandruff too! The attached comb applicator also makes this easy for him to apply since he is not accustomed to putting oils in his hair. I highly recommend this product!

Smells great and isn't greasy on my 3C/4A curls. I use this after washing my hair to lock moisture in.

While I can confirm this product smells really nice, thats unfortunately the only thing I can confirm. The product was completed leaked out of the bottle and into the delivery bag upon arrival. I couldn't use it.

Really good stuff and washes out straight away unlike other oils

No difference in growth, breakage and no cooling effext. Doesn't help itchy scalp (no dandruff but itchy scalp). I would just buy regular coconut oil and mix it myself. Afro caribbean 4b hair

Used it for about a month and a half the oil is lightweight fast absorbing and most importantly stopped my hair fall and grew my hair 3 inches I love this and will re purchase forever I don’t like the smell but it is natural so that makes sense
