Absolutely magical for healing scratches and bruises, helps great for diaper rash, burns, chopped lips - you name it. Oh, it also smells good and tastes good.

This is an amazing ointment! Great for chapped lips, nappy rash, and healing any irritated skin. And it has a bit of a barrier, protecting effect. Better than petroleum jelly by far! Love it!

My two favorite lip balms have either been discontinued or reformulated to be worse (I can’t even talk about it, I will get so upset) so I have been forced ONCE AGAIN to search the world for a new holy grail lip product. I was born with permanently slightly chapped lips, I assume to keep me humble in the face of all my many other gifts, and I basically have to have something on my lips always. They can never be bare. So you see my problem. I must find a solution. This product is not even remotely what I thought I wanted. I recognize the benefit of a petroleum based occlusive lip product but I tend to not like the texture. It’s too slippy, it’s never thick enough, and it always has the petroleum taste that I find unpleasant. This product is all of those things!!! It’s thin, it’s not cushiony, it’s a little chemically!! AND YET!!! By God, it works. I hate to say it, but it works. I am annoyed about it every time!! But I use it daily and feel a sense of relief because it’s doing what it’s supposed to. I put it on before bed and my lips are less dry in the morning from my (charming, attractive) sleeping open mouth breathing. My hunt continues for a lip balm that I don’t resent loving, that feels the way I prefer my lip balms to feel (THICK!!!!! Balmy!!!!!) but I will likely use this for the rest of my life as well. It’s an enormous tube, I don’t need much, and it works. So help me, it works great. I’ve even been putting it on my cuticles and little random dry skin patches. Works great there too. :(

You won't regret purchasing Lucas papaw ointment. I suffer from Sjorgens immune disorder. My lip corners crack and become sore. I have tried many products without relief. While on vacation in the Philippines. I really needed relief from my red cracked lips. The pharmacist recommended this product. Cant tell you the relief and healing within a days use. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to purchase again After searching Amazon. I was relived to find it here to purchase. Lifesaver for one who suffers from embarrassment of red cracked lip and corners. I am smiling without pain now!!

Bought this after finding out that Sophia from Katseye uses this as a lip balm, and even Han from SKZ. honestly, I love this stuff. It feels good, makes your lips feel soft, and honestly works pretty well. I think it will last a long time for me too bc of its size. Definitely worth giving a shot!

I did not find that it kept my lips soft even when reapplying all day no better than vaseline
