Did not work for me.
This product did not work for me. Product came in a good package. Easy to use, but when I actually fixed the leak there was no product in the line or around the leak... did I use it wrong? Or was there not enough for my 4lb mini split unit?

A real problem solver and money saver!!!
Our air conditioning system was not keeping up with the heat and we were spending a fortune on refilling the refrigerant every friggin' week. My husband purchased this on a whim, and, miraculously, problem solved. Our air conditioning actually gets too cold now. Recently, my son had an issue with his air conditioning, so I sent him this leak sealer to see if it would help. Sure enough, his air conditioning stands up to the summer heat with no problem, whereas previously, it was barely able to cool the house down. This is great stuff!!!

DIDN'T WORK BECAUSE IT WAS OLD!
A pin hole in refrigeration is a huge hole & ac leak stop wont work in a hole that size to seal a leak. A tech must top off a system & GO BACK TWICE to make an educated decision wether leak stop is warranted or whether the systems refrigerant must be recovered & then the system must be brought up to 250psi w dry nitrogen to actually locate the leak. Usually you will hear a loud hiss from pressure that high. We were loosing 10 ounces of 134a from a wine cellar cooler that held 30ounces over a 3.5 month period. THATS LOOSING 3 OUNCES A MONTH This is a perfect scenario for ac leak stop to work. HOW IT WORKS: after it's injected into the system, as it leaks out, it cakes up & closes the leak. & these usually work. BUT NOT WHEN THEY ARE OLD! We recently bought an easyseal here from NuCalgon & it was old also! In fact we cant even keep these in o ur service trucks because heat in south florida ruins them' So we buy them as we go & use them. We use rectorseal or NuCalgon brand. This SHOULD have worked, but it didnt'

Believe it or not it works!
To all the AC techs that always advise against sealers here is a case for you and I also say, what do they have to lose? I had a friend that had an AC unit with a leak bad enough where it would pretty much leak out its contents within a month. Against my recommendations we filled it back up and within a little more than a week it was out again. I figured I'd suggest trying a leak sealer as replacing the unit was not an option financially for her so what did she have to lose. We added this sealant and I warned her about the possible consequences. We added more refrigerant and this time it slowed the leak down back to a month. So I added "leak saver " brand next and between the 2 of them there have been no more issues and knock on wood the AC unit is still going strong in Las Vegas heat with no compressor issues etc. And yes, we looked to locate leak initially. Her condenser had many small leaks at the bottom coil due to water corrosion and who knows if she had any in her evap also. So repairs were not even worth attempting. Whether or not aluminum coils matter to the leak sealers I do not know but this has aluminum.

The product very easy to use and since the tube is clear, you can easily tell if the solution has entered the system. Guess, will know by next year if it works as it is advertised.
