The Nécessaire Lip Balm has become a favorite in my routine. The texture feels rich and hydrating on dry lips without being sticky, and the minty fresh scent and feel are really refreshing. The metal applicator is a standout detail – it feels cooling and soothing when applying, which makes the whole experience feel more elevated. I also like that the tube is a generous size, so it lasts a long time and is easy to keep in a bag or on my nightstand. It’s a great option if you want a lip balm that actually feels treatment-level while still being simple and comfortable for everyday use.

This lip balm feels genuinely elevated. I love the metal cooling tip—it’s instantly soothing and feels amazing on dry or irritated lips. The ingredients are clean, the texture is lightweight, and it’s never sticky or goopy. It hydrates without feeling heavy and wears beautifully on its own or under lipstick. Simple, effective, and very well done! I’ve rebought it 2-3 times and even put it in a few gift baskets for friends and they rave about it!

This is definitely my new favorite lip balm. The cold metal applicator stays cold and feels very refreshing and the lip balm itself does not feel sticky at all. It feels very hydrating and after a while when it fades my lips, don’t feel dry like they normally do with other gloss I love the mint scent and flavor. It’s a little expensive but I would be purchased this and I would also purchase as a gift for others because it feels very luxurious and is such an upgrade to a basic necessity.

This is my new daily, go-to lip balm. It's super hydrating and glossy but not sticky. And I like the subtle mint scent.

Love the applicator. Fairly thick balm. Similar to another ceramide balm I have but not quite as thick which I like. It also has a better flavor than the other one (the remedy) which has a bit of a bitter taste. The mint is subtle so if you hate minty balms you would probably tolerate this well. Keeps my lips soft and moisturized for hours. Definitely pricey. That's kinda how it is for a luxury item. This has more ingredients working to soothe and heal my eczema skin than your average cheap balm. If cheap lipbalm works for you I wouldn't bother splurging on this. If your lip skin needs some serious help this is worth a try.

This is a great product line and company. Very natural, environmentally friendly, no animal testing. The metal applicator is far superior to other lip balms. It has many necessary ingredients like hyaluronic acid, to actually heal you lips not just coat them with a waxy layer. Worth the price as this is 15 Ml when a regular chapstick is 5 to 6 and go bad due to the entire surface being exposed to air and bacteria.

I’ve dealt with chronically dry, peeling, painful lips for almost 20 years & I’m not exaggerating at all when I say I’ve tried everything. Drugstore & luxury brands, trending brands, “cult classics,” dermatologist recommended, homeopathic remedies... you name it, I probably bought it. Nothing ever fixed it. This is the first product that has actually helped my lips heal. The difference was noticeable the first time I used it. If you’ve struggled with persistent lip issues and feel like you’ve tried everything, this one is absolutely worth trying. First photo was taken Feb 2026 and is pretty much baseline for lips. Second photo was taken March 2026 and is after the first use. It's not sticky, it doesn't feel like you're just applying something on top of the skin for it to sit there, it doesn't cause any white film, it doesn't get gummy, and it doesn't smell like anything. It feels like it penetrates your lips and protects them.

I’ve been trying Al different types of lip balms and chapsticks and this is by far my favorite! It feels thick, but it feels light on your lips. It comes off sticky but it’s not. Your lips actually soak in the balm to make them soft and moisturized. It’s not cakey or thick. And my lips feel so good after one apply. I definitely love this it’s a go to for me now. Absolutely worth it! My man said that’s so expensive for lip balm I don’t want one. I had him try it and now he wants his own! And he’s a picky guy. Definitely recommend!
