Greenlee 7211BB-1/2 Slug-Buster Knockout Punch Unit, 7/8-Inch

Worked great. Simple to use, clean hole. This is considered a very good quality tool.

I like the knock out buster and the way it cuts the slug in half so that it is easier to take out. I don't like the fact that you have to pre- drill a hole for the bolt before you can finish the job.

Very good product I have used the greenlee brand and other tools but by far they are right at the top of the tool Box!!!

The threads inside the conduit punch were defective so that the draw stude could not be threaded all the way through the punch.I've been using Greenlee electrical tools for 53 years. This was my first experience with a defective product.Greenlee (Emerson) Quality Control (QC) is not doing their job. Poor commentary for something "Made in the USA!"Don't waste your time contacting Greenlee (Emerson) Customer/Technical Support. They're no better than QC.

used this item to install cab lights on my truck and would recommend anyone who is contemplating on poking holes on a perfectly good roof that this tool does the job right. nice and clean almost factory like.

After spending over $50 through MSCDirect for the same item years ago, I was EXTREMELY pleased to see this item in stock on Amazon at this price. My original punch became worn after many, many uses (even used it several times on stainless steel panels). Thank you for providing an incredible price for a very durable product.

I just received my Greenlee 7211BB-1/2 punch. I have used their punches in the past and I have been very pleased with the results. From the part number and from another customer review I determined that the punch would make 1/2" holes. If there had been a photo on Amazon for the "packaged unit" that I received, I could have determined that the punch was for 0.89" hole size(7/8"=0.875"). Apparently the 1/2 in the part number indicates that this punch is for 1/2" conduit. I am aware that the title indicates 7/8-inch; however, it would have been nice if this indicated "7/8-inch hole diameter" to remove any and all ambiguity. I needed a half-inch hole not 7/8-inch. So I will keep the punch for another day and/or go back to the hardware store to get larger grommets for my project. I am sure the punch is of good quality and deserves a 5-star rating; however, only one star should be given for not clarifying the hole diameter in either the Product Features or Product Details.

Very smooth solid action. Cuts easily and accurately. Far superior to the last one I had which was not a name brand tool.
