Frizz at bay

Context: I have long fairly curly hair that although lots of it, individual hair strands are very fine. It gets very frizzy/fluffy, more so now that I have gone about 50% white/grey from a mid blonde original. I struggle to find a product that works in taming frizzy, doesn’t leave hair greasy or flat. I also don’t like products that leave my hair ‘crunchy’. I have tried more expensive stuff that doesn’t work for me (eg olaplex). This works, but I do have to be careful about how much I use - can be a bit hit and miss. When I get it right, it leaves me with curls that are not frizzy/fluffy and stays most of the day if I don’t play with my hair too much. It also adds shine, or at least, doesn’t dull it like so many do. Hair feels soft and natural. I’ve used it on wet and dry hair and works with both - typically wet on wash day, maybe with a touch up once hair has dried more, or on dry on ‘day two’ after washing. Wet is probably easier to get more even coverage. I like the smell - but then, I like the smell of coconut so not surprising. Be careful though, it’s spray/mist does spread out - you may end up with slippery bathroom!!

I used this after washing my hair and conditioning it with the same brand but it made my hair dry. I tried it again and the same thing happened. So I won't be using it again.

Was looking for a lightweight, yet powerful hair oil. To tame frizz, flyaways, and to add softness and texture post wash and style. I use it both on dry and slightly damp hair too. Not sticky, greasy, and doesn't 'slick' my hair. I tried this product because it was part of a bundle with a shampoo and conditioner. I mainly bought the set for these, but the oil was great too. I was pleasantly surprised, and my search for an effective hair oil is now over. OGX comes highly recommended, yet up until recently, i hadnt tried it.

I love it, smells good, light texture, value for money, gentle shine, high moisture level. Usually I look like I was touched by electricity 😅 it has reduced after one use

I’ve been using this frizz control spray for a few months now, and overall, I’m quite happy with it. It does help with frizz control, especially when used correctly. According to the instructions, it can be applied on both damp and dry hair. However, in my experience, it works much better on damp hair. When I’ve used it on dry hair, it didn’t really make a noticeable difference. Since my routine already involves applying products on wet hair, this works well for me. I have naturally straight hair that doesn’t frizz excessively, and for my hair type, this product does the job. It helps keep things smooth and manageable without weighing the hair down. That said, if you have very frizz-prone or curly hair, you might need something stronger, as I’m not sure this would provide enough control in those cases. Overall, it’s a good product and offers great value for money. It may not be the most powerful option out there, but it’s definitely worth trying, especially if you’re looking for something lightweight and effective for mild frizz.

Hardly seems to be oily at all great for keeping hair straight, stopping curling and fly away and in good condition

I have mixed feelings about this oil. It has a lovely fragrance and is a light oil. Having said that, on thinner hair it can leave it looking greasy and lank. I think the trick is to not spray directly onto the head but onto your hands and distribute through your hair that way. It does calm flyaway hair down so it has that desired effect but applied directly is too heavy for my hair even without using a great deal.

He oído hablar maravillas del producto. Quizá a mí no me funcione por mi tipo de pelo o porque lo estoy usando mal. Lo noto más poroso y con más frizz después de usarlo. Prefiero los productos en crema o en aceite más que los que vienen en spray. Tiene un tamaño pequeño pero es lo que esperaba. Lo seguiré usando a ver si con el tiempo noto mejoría.
