BSEEDWiFi Smart Socket with USB and Type-C, 13A Black - Compatible with Alexa and Google Home, Timer and App Remote Control for Smart Life

Used these to control my 8 LED downlighters in my living room. I used four switches in banks of 2, please note the existing downlighters were already hardwired for this configuration controlled by a 4 way switch. I placed them in line with the 2 down lighters and slotted them into the ceiling - my downlighters fit through a 65mm cut out and the switch comfortably slotted in. Prior to this I scanned the Q-code on the box, downloaded the SMART LIFE app, added my wireless network, press the button on the device until it started to flash and then added the controllers as they were picked up. My only recommendation would be perhaps add them individually - I stupidly activated all four, all four were picked up but had no idea on the order. Not a fault of the product but my lack of thinking. Repeated the exercise with each switch, finding it on the network and naming accordingly. Added the SMART LIFE skill in the ALEXA APP and you then have voice control or full APP control. Super easy set up, so far worked perfectly. Dropped my network out to see if they get picked up on a reboot and this seem to work perfectly. I also blanked off the existing 4 way wall switch as the devices need to be powered and did not want someone accidently knocking the switch off. As a general note I did consider trying to add a couple of them to the wall socket but they have both neutral and live connections and your wall switch will only have live connections. Lastly please also note they do not have any earth connection if using them with an earth application. In summary small compact wireless switches, capable of switching up to 10A apparently- can not confirm this as my load was fairly small but based upon size i probably would not use them in a high current draw application to be honest, perhaps use them to switch a contactor coil in this case - super easy to set up, reconnects with no issues on a network reboot, easy integration into an ALEXA network - highly recommended. Intend to buy more for future electrical upgrade projects.

These work brilliantly. There were only two small Issues with installation. 1 The screw mounts are tiny and flimsy. 2 There is no strain relief on the cables in or out. As an improvement to versatility, I would have liked a voltfree contact to allow ac/DC switching alternative to mains

Easy set-up used to turn on a pool pump to fill pool in Spain via a 63amp contactor. I needed to have control of the pump due to the fluctuating water supply as opposed to a timer which would run the pump regardless of the water supply level. Albeit I will also use the timer function in the app.Moved Wi-Fi module switch 25mtrs away from source and works fine. Hopefully when installed in Spain it will still work fine. Works with Alexa

These are nice neat switches. Easy to setup using app. However their wifi range is smaller than others i have. I wanted to turn my fountain pumps (30m from house) on and off, but these would not work reliably. I swapped with other types that i use for lighting in the house and all now works. So nice easy switch but more limited range than others.

Compact units. Fits inside old pressed steel flourescent light fittings with stuff removed for led tube. Have these in the battens around my workshop with 5ft led tubes. Unable to fault. Works with Smartlife.

I was really pleased with these when I got them, size, Alexa integration etc. But without question, they are the most unreliable products I've ever bought. Constantly dropping out, I ask Alexa to turn on my security light during the night, then nothing, Alexa saying it is not responding. Press the small button on the switch, dead. Ask the suppliers for comment, same stock answer, disconnect and reconnect!! Every few days one of the switches will drop out. No problems with all the other makes of switches in use in my house. One of the original set of 4 was DOA.

Awesome product, remove all your indoor or outdoor ugly switches and replace them with these, they fit inside the junction boxes and work through your phone. You can set them up on timers and also have a switch option on the phone. By them now, it’s a no brainer

Update, the issue with them losing network connection continues and when it loses connection the override button does not work so you reset it by turning of at source, this can happen a couple of times a month so are practically useless, bseed said it was is unstable router but as they are the only devices out of more than 50 it cant be, its a shame because i would have bought more 😢Really easy to install and use, i thought I had an issue with them going offline all the time but it was the configuration of the router that was kicking them off, I reset it to factory defaults and have had no problems since, I have many Wi-Fi switches and these ones are great 👏
