Very good for bedside ultrasounds

For the cost, it would be difficult to find anything better.Works very well for bedside ultrasound/POCUS/eFAST.Of course, the details are nowhere near the machines used in big hospitals, but remember the cost.Overall, very happy with my purchase.I enclosed some pictures of my gallbladder (1) and lung A-lines (2).

Impressed radiologist

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This same product is sold under several different names on various sites, presumably with one manufacturer given the similarity, so search around for the best price. Aside from a bit of trickiness with install:-Download the software wireless USG on your tablet (I used iPad, can't confirm function on android) while on wifi-Then switch your ipad in settings to use the devices wifi (network name is a series of characters/numbers that will be show as an available wifi network when you turn on the probe)-Wifi password is the serial number written on the probe, but all in lowercase (that part got me...the letters are written capital on the device, but will not work if entered that way)After those steps, I was up and running rather quickly...and wow...none of the other radiologists at the hospital can believe I got these images at home. I was doing in vitro with the wife and was able to diagnose both ovarian hyperstimulation for her and also get some pretty impressive images of the baby later on when she became pregnant (yay!) ... which were helpful since her OB office is currently limiting appointments to emergencies (prevent exposure to sick patients).***Please do note that this is not a toy for watching your baby - ultrasound is a medical diagnostic device and does heat the tissues of the unborn child/fetus with potential negative effects if used excessively / inappropriately.... That being said, you can ultrasound the heck out of yourself or any other willing adult without any known harm and it is very neat.Considering the ultrasound machines used by the hospital I work for cost ~100K, this device's capabilities are very impressive given it is a fraction of the cost. It doesn't make the cut for true diagnostic radiology (not that anyone would expect that at this price), but I personally like it better than the much more expensive and widely used entry level Sonosites for bedside scan or preliminary rapid imaging. The Philips competitor at $6K+ or so entry level does produce better images, but the price gap is quite large - definitely recommend this device!
