It does not like to be in a cool environment, not hot. I used this fertilizer about every six weeks and gradually increased the amount as my plant got older. My plant is very full and about 4 feet tall. I have had it for almost 3 years. Last fall I planted it in my yard and mulch it very well in the winter. I live 60 miles below Atlanta. Very satisfied with product however, the small measuring cup on all three containers arrived damaged. The measuring cups are so thin and flimsy and the plastic shrink wrap the container is wrapped in is so tight that they are crushed before even unwrapping the containers. I thought the first one was just a fluke but then the next two are the same?!
