Does fit in GE72MVR
Although my laptop wasn't listed nor was this fan part number cross referenced for my computer I went ahead and purchsed it soley by the picture. It's a perfect match and is working as if I never had an issue with mine.

Failed after less than a month of use
I bought this to replace a CPU fan in my MSI GE72VR 6rf that was making a grinding noise and failing to spin up to full speed. Installed on January 4th. It's now January 25th, and this morning it failed in the same way as the previous one. Extremely disappointed, but I'll be buying it again because it seems I have no other choice as there are no other models available that fit this laptop.
