Burpee Wildflower 25,000 Bulk, 1 Bag, 18 Varieties of Non-GMO Flower Seeds Pollinator Garden, Pollinator Mix

- Update- 2yrs later i'm still growing flowers from the original flowers I planted. In the fall as the flowers are going to seed I collect the seeds from the best growing flowers. It was a fun experience learning how to collect all the various flowers seeds. For me personally I like the black eyed susans, calendula, zinnia, cosmos and bachelor buttons. Its now the middle of July 2025 and the flowers are starting to bloom nicely. They are growing so well and big that i'm always having to thin them out so they arent over crowded. I've been seeing alot of bee's and butterfly activity. The black eyed susans are getting big with lots of flowers on each plant that they are top heavy and started leaning over with the wind so I staked them all so they stay up straight. The zinnia's get huge, last year I had some over 4 feet tall with multiple flowers on each plant, seems if I cut the first main flower it branches out more producing more flowers. -Update- It's now July 21st and a few kinds of flowers have been blooming. The patch I planted along with sunflowers didn't work out so well and ended up pulling most of them except the ones right in front, my fault for planting too many sunflowers too close together. I just extended that area at the end and put some more seeds down and they are already sprouting. But the ones I planted to hide the gas meters are coming along great, those things really took off and some are over 3' tall. I actually had to thin alot out since I put down too much seed, there were so many flowers they were falling over themselves. I pulled all the vine type ones that have white flowers and just kept them in the front so they spill over onto the lawn. The colors are amazing, whites, blues, red, yellow, and these bright pinks. And most haven't even bloomed yet. This area only gets about 4hrs direct sun a day due to being so close to the house. If I doesn't rain in a few days I'll just get out my 2 gallon watering can and give them a good drink. I'll feed them with the Miracle Grow plant food once a week. -Update- It's now June 23rd about one month since putting the seeds down and they are growing like crazy filling in everything. I think I made a mistake planting these with my sunflowers, the sunflowers are getting so huge that there leaves block out most of the sun underneath them so the flowers aren't getting much sun. I also planted the sunflowers too close to eachother. I went to water them with a watering can and alot of the flowers flopped over, they were tall and lanky. I went in and pulled most of the taller flowers out and just left the short ones. I pulled handfuls and still have alot left. I also made the mistake of throwing grass seed down before I had the brilliant idea to plant flowers instead, I had tried to rake out the grass seed prior to putting the flower seeds down but from the photos I see I didn't do such a good job and there's alot of grass growing too. As you can see I have no idea what I'm doing. But I can say these flower seeds are good to go, I can see alot of different types of flowers growing though have no idea what they are. I'm even seeing the 1st flowers already showing, little white flowers. Next time I'll plant these flowers by themselves so they receive full sun instead of them being in shade like they are now. I'm still happy since it seems some of these flowers don't mind shade and are flowering already. I got these wildflowers to plant with sunflowers in my back yard. The area was never really taken care of and full of weeds so I pulled all the weeds out then turned over the dirt with a shovel. It was mostly dry sandy dirt so I added a few bags of Miracle Grow garden soil and mixed it up good. I had some sunflowers already growing in cups so I transplanted those first then sprinkled this wildflower seed mix over the dirt and pressed it in with the back of a garden rake so the seeds hopefully wouldn't easily wash away. I watered the area daily, sometimes twice a day to keep the soil moist but not soaked. It's now 12 days since planting and there's alot of flowers sprouting and growing. I think I spread too much, I used the entire bag and the area is only about 3'x15'. There's alot of sprouts growing clumped together so hopefully they will thin themselves out or I'll have to go in and thin them out by hand. I'm very happy so far that they are growing which means the seeds are good. If something happens to them then it's probably my fault, either screwing up with watering or fertilizing. I shouldn't of spread the entire bag down in such a small area since my sunflowers are growing huge already, it's already getting crowded in there. I'll try to remember to update as the flowers grow.

This comes with not only plenty of seeds, but they all grow, in my experience!! They are beautiful and last all season. I love them. Quite the value, if you ask me.

I bought this during a flurry of activity and purchasing whilst planning my daughter's micro wedding. I had ordered beautiful little wildflower seed envelopes for guest table place settings and bought 3 of these to fill those envelopes. I'm an avid gardening enthusiast, so the idea of gifting nature that can grow to our wedding guests hit the nail on the head for me! I was pleasantly surprised to see how big the packets are, and was actually pretty excited until I opened one, which is when I felt duped, like I bought pretty pricey coir dust. I carefully mixed the contents with a large spoon, as I would expect the contents to settle during shipping; I saw only a few actual seeds though. Hoping to be proven wrong, I began my task, scanning with my 20/20 vision, looking for seeds as I worked. I used a tiny spoon to fill the envelopes and was dismayed to see hardly any seeds at all. It's virtually all coconut coir filler. So I imagine it would depend on what your intended use is. I used one whole packet to fill 35 little envelopes to capacity. With my little spoon, I felt like I was just shoveling coir dust. And lots of it. The little wedding favor envelopes are now stuffed to the hilt, hoping against hope that there will be at least one in seed most of the envelopes. I MAY have seen 25 seeds at most, and I was looking very closely. Certainly NOT 25,000 as described on the packet. Reading the reviews more now, it makes sense to me that many people had the same complaint, and several said nothing grew. I had bought 3 of these, I used 1 and I will return the other 2. If even one wedding guest reports a single flower grew from my efforts, I'd be enormously surprised. And if that ever happens, I'll stand corrected and come back and update my review. I thought this choice would have been wise, but I regret now not just going and buying a few dozen little seed packets and redistributing them into the wedding envelopes. Maybe if someone was going to sow this entire packet into a fairly small area, they may get a few hits, but I wouldn't expect any miracles. So for my intended use, this product was extremely disappointing. Lesson learned!

I love the variety of flowers in this pack of seedlings. They’re growing slowly but that could be because of lack of rain, the heat, or soil. Anyway I love what I see and can’t wait to see them fully grown.

I've never had wild flowers come up before, but these blew up everywhere and they look beautiful.

I’m not an experienced gardener. I tend to kill things more than keeping them alive. But I still live to garden. This mix came quickly and I paired it with Miraclegro moisture control potting soil in my raised bed planter. I planted towards the end of June 2022 and they sprouted within a few day. I live in Charleston and the heat is brutal and these plants have held up so far. We’ve also had a lot of rainfall this season. It’s now the middle of July 2022 and I have very pretty foliage, but no flowers yet. I’m hopeful with more time, some will bloom. But for now it’s still beautiful on my deck.

I have a couple of acres so I love to give my wildflowers a boost and this does the trick and keeps my pollinators happy.

So I purchased these seeds in February and planted in spring (in Alberta) - like late April and then by June I was giving up on the seeds I’d spread so I ordered another 2 bags and right around that time, I started to see the flowers popping up! So I re-ordered prematurely. I’m happy with these wildflowers, loving the colours, and I’m excited to see which ones return next year.

I originally bought these to fill pillow boxes for a celebration of life... & it worked out very well. .....with the extras .....They actually seeded & grew. the bees, birds, hummingbirds, butterflies loved them.
