I purchased this device hoping for a compact and affordable smartphone, but unfortunately, my experience was concerning. After setting up the phone, I ran a reputable antivirus scan and was surprised to find multiple system apps flagged as malware. These included apps located in protected system folders (such as /system/priv-app and /vendor/operator/app), which cannot be removed without advanced technical steps. The flagged apps included a version of WhatsApp, FaceRegister, MtkSystemUI, and Rsota. The scan identified threats like "Clipper" and "Downloader" malware, which are known for running in the background and potentially compromising user privacy and security-even if you never open these apps. I have never used WhatsApp on this device, but the malware was still present and active. This was disappointing and concerning, as I expected a clean and safe device out of the box. If you are considering this phone, I recommend running a security scan such as Dr Web from the Play Store as soon as you receive it and being cautious with any sensitive information. Personally, I would not use this device for anything important.

However, it's not so slow as to be unusable. It connected to Wi-Fi easily without any problems. Downloading apps takes a few minutes. I cannot comment on cellular capabilities, as it's for my six-year-old who only uses it for messenger calls. Overall, it's a good product for its intended purpose. My daughter loves it, and I've ordered a second one for my thirteen-year-old, who is interested in its novelty features. Neither child will use it as their primary cell phone, as they already have iPhones, but it's a cute and worthwhile purchase, suitable for young children as a first phone. I would recommend it and buy it again. I will update my review in a few weeks regarding its longevity. 4 stars just because cellular connectivity is a question.

Was not compatible with my SIM card. Perfect size and great looking little phone. If your are purchasing it to use on the TextNow phone platform, do not wastes your time and or money on this product, it will not work. For all other carriers it may be perfect but not for TextNow!!!

GREAT PHONE !!! I only use my phone for calls and occasional text messages. I don't stream videos, use Facebook, check emails, or surf the web. I had a Consumer Cellular Iris flip phone and that met my needs. However, I was getting 20 robo calls a day and there was no way to add a call blocking app. I carry my phone in my front pants pocket and didn't want a big smart phone that I would need a belt carrier for. This is perfect!. It is smaller than any flip phone I have ever owned. I took it to Target (the CC store in our area) and bought a SIM card for$10. They switched it over from my old phone in 15 minutes. It has all the apps I need and some I don't. I downloaded Call Blacklist from the Playstore for free. I transferred my ringtones from my PC with a USB cable - need to set the SD card for USB connectivity in the settings to transfer files to & from PC. The phone comes with a front screen protector and a wrap around vinyl case. I installed a 16GB SD card. Text is small, But I wear bifocals and it is clear. The keypad is small and takes getting use to, but I don't text often. Calculator has trig functions. Sound is good quality; people I call say the quality is very good on their end. I am tough on phones, But at $60 I can afford to replace this once a year. March 3 Update - This is a a great phone for people that prefer the size of a filp phone but want a a few smart features. I noticed that on phone calls that last 4-5 minutes, the phone gets warm. On long calls I press the button on the side and it turns the display off and it stays cool. For texting I use the talk feature: press the microphone icon and speak the message. The text recognition is very good. Tap send and it's on the way. I installed the Blink app and now get notices when the driveway and door cameras detect motion. I store the video locally on the sync module and can view the clips on this phone.

Did not work. Very small...like a toy (someone said this I didn't get it)....its small and light plaxtic...like a toy. It was not compatible with Verizon ...although said it would). I wanted small...thos very small and cheapo. peace
