World of Flowers: A Coloring Book and Floral Adventure

I recently purchased the World of Flowers coloring book, and it has quickly become one of my favorite ways to relax and unwind. This book is an absolute gem, and I'm thrilled to give it a glowing 5-star review! First and foremost, the illustrations are breathtakingly beautiful. The paper quality is also exceptional, allowing me to use a variety of coloring mediums without any bleeding or smudging. This coloring book is Awesome don't use Ohuhu on it though. Use test page first in your book. Lanreweng pens are great. Masters Touch pens also. Going to use many other's company's later. Thank you Johanna love it

*Love johanna basford and most of her images. This book is detailed but not overly so. *I'm not a fan of some of the images, like the wallpaper and the skull. Still this is one of my favorite books. *the pages that contain many individual separate images are perfect for a quick coloring session *This is great if you like flowers, plants and nature. *Love this paper as well. In fact, I prefer this paper to that in her newest book. *Works great for colored pencils with a perfect amount of tooth. *If you use alcohol markers, you'll loose the image on the back because of bleed thru. (be sure to add a sheet of paper underneath). *gel pens would be great for the more detailed pages, like the pots with plants on bookshelf pages *Of course, the cover has a fancy feel to it with it's metallic accents *Johanna often puts some activity for you to do in her books, but she does not in this one. The World of Flowers is all about the coloring only. *you might find this at a good price because it's a little older *makes a great gift for the colorist in your life.

Another beautiful book by Johanna Basford! I own nearly all of them now and they are by far my favorite books. The amount of detail is perfect and the drawings are so charming and fun to color! The paper quality is nice and heavy and I have no bleed through, and my favorite coloring medium is glitter gel pens. I do wish the pages were printed only on one side but I can live with it. I highly recommend these books! Happy coloring!!!!

I love these adult coloring books! Beautifully and intricately illustrated, and the paper is nice and heavy card stock. Very high quality books, and worth every penny!

As always another hit with me. I like all the books done by Johanna Basford. I like the paper better than other books. Keep putting out the books I will keep purchasing. Some images may be similar to other books she has done but you know they are great to color. I have bought a lot of other books but paper in the others is no match and images are not printed up as nice as these are done.

My sister and I traded coloring books this year, and we each chose a Johanna Basford book to gift. I gave this one to my sister, and she gifted me the Enchanted Forest one. We had both been looking at the Christmas book, and it had specified that the pictures were single-sided. We just assumed they would both be single-sided as well. Neither one of the books we purchased were single-sided. We both like to use markers, so we were a little disappointed, although it was our own fault for not reading thoroughly to make sure they weren't double-sided. That being said, we both loved the illustrations. I broke out my colored pencils and finished the first picture. I appreciate that there are varied degrees of detail on each page. Most books seem like they have pictures that are either all simplistic or all overly detailed. None of these are simplistic, but some are definitely more detailed than others. In my opinion, that is a plus. We are both glad we ordered these, despite our own misconceptions. I will definitely order another Johanna Basford book in the future.

Not only are there many wonderful designs to satisfy the soul, the paper stock is quality thick! If you enjoy using your imagination in color then this World of Flowers by Johanna Basford and Sabrina Bowers is for you! 2nd Review bought another one- Enjoyed it more than ever to make a different point of view in color adoration! You cannot go wrong using markers, gel pens and acrylics! No bleed through as long as the ingredients do not include alcohol.

Johanna Basford est revenue à ses classiques, et le livre reprend l'ancienne taille des 1er livres : le jardin secret, la forêt enchantée, etc. La qualité de papier est top. Quand aux dessins, ils sont très beaux, j'aime surtout les dernières pages, mais Ivy and the inky butterfly reste mon préféré de JB. Commentaire ajouté : le papier du type mix médias env 180 g. Je viens de tester le à l'aquarelle, il ne gondole pas trop, revient à peu près à la normal après séchage, voir photos.

Colorare queste pagine mi è stato di aiuto nelle fasi più complicate del lockdown. Mi ha aiutato a rilassarmi e a non farmi vincere dall'ansia per il COVID 19. Certo, non tutti i disegni mi hanno entusiasmata, ma è bastato "saltare" le pagine incriminate...... Unico neo : ho consumato quasi tutti i miei vecchi pastelli che giacevano da anni nel cassetto della cancelleria ( ma ho subito rimediato con una nuova e bellissima confezione di acquerellabili acquistata su Amazon! )

Arrived yesterday, with next day delivery (order receipt stated over 2 weeks to wait). So impressed with this book - it's everything I wished for. I had seen a comparison video on youtube which compared this US edition with the UK edition, and it's exactly as seen in the video. The images are beautiful; some people are bored to tears with endless flowers and leaves, but I love to colour them. This US edition is slightly larger than the UK edition and has larger images, which might suit you better. It's a lovely book!

Bei dieser Ausgabe handelt es sich um die US Version von World of Flowers mit dem eigens von Johanna Basford ausgesuchtem Papier in toller Qualität und leichtem Creme-Ton. Die US Ausgabe ist zudem ein wenig grösser als die UK Ausgabe was auch bedeutet, dass die Motive einen Tick grösser gedruckt sind. Die Motive sind wunderschön und vielfältig, von sehr detaillierten Seiten wo es viel zum Ausmalen gibt bis zu grösseren Motiven. Es ist auf jeden Fall für jeden etwas dabei. Ein sehr schönes Buch !

Tengo todos los libros de esta autora porque me encantan sus ilustraciones y he de decir que de todos encuentro que este es el más bonito. Me gusta que ya no hay ningún mapa ni tienes que buscar objetos que ha puesto en sus ilustraciones como pasaba con sus anteriores libros, eso me parecía que sobraba y afortunadamente lo ha eliminado, ahora es simplemente un libro para colorear y ya está. Eso es lo que yo quería. El formato del libro es igual que los anteriores, cuadrado de unos 25x25cm. La calidad de papel muy buena y las ilustraciones preciosas, ya digo que ahora es mi favorito de ella. Al final del libro hay un desplegable de dos hojas que tiene perforación por si lo quieres arrancar, con ilustración por ambas caras. Un libro recomendado para todo tipo de público
