Q: Is this ok for a first time user to retinol i have normal to dry skin

I bought this a couple of months ago. I've used expensive Zein Obagi products which only contain 0.5% retinol and could feel a bit of stinging with subsequent dryness/slight peeling which I would expect from retinol use. So I've serious doubts about Eva's claims of 5% as I've also got sensitive skin but this product causes no irritation at all. In saying that, this is a nice moisturizer and might be a good starting product for you, but don't expect miracle results if you've particular concerns. Their hyaluronic acid is quite a nice product and dries in before you put on mosturizer. Hope this helps.
