Plain French Navy 100% Cotton Fabric for Quilting, Sewing, Dressmaking, Arts & Creafts - 60 Inch Wide by M&J

Purchased to be the backing to a quilt I was making. Worked really well, didn't fray too much when cut and machined well. It did, unfortunately smell obnoxiously like chemicals that once unfolded was scarily strong. However, it did dissipate quite quickly and didn't affect performance, just something to consider if unfolding near a naked flame, a small child or a Victorian socialite prone to an attack of the vapors.

Colour is good. Quality nice, but I didn’t spot that orders sent via Amazon will be individual 1 metre lengths. I ordered 4 metres and got 4 x 1 metre pieces. If you buy direct I guess you will get a continuous piece. My fault as I was in a hurry. A nite for future buyers… I washed a trial,piece and the colour ran like crazy. It also shrank quite a lot. Unfortunately it’s not going to be suitable as a play dress for a toddler due to this issue.

Excellent ... Bit stiff if you are using it for Clothes , I think I would wash it first as there is a lot of Starch in the fabric .

Arrivato nei tempi previsti Tessuto di buona qualità,morbido anche prima del lavaggio. Esattamente come da foto sia per la consistenza che per la tonalità e brillantezza di colore.
