Incredibly easy to use, well made and seems to be very effective...
The “Wired and Wireless Fish Finder” from Lucky (Model Number FF718LiC) is an excellent piece of kit for any keen fisher to have with them. First up, the Fish Finder is incredibly lightweight and compact. This is ideal as if you’re anything like me, you don’t want to be carrying too much extra stuff with you when out fishing. The Fish Finder comes in a small hard-plastic container which you can carry it around within along with all the additional bits of kit you need with it. First off you’ll need to charge up the unit. This is done using a simple USB cable like with most gadgets these days. Once charged you’re basically good to go. The Fish Finder is really easy to use and familiarise yourself with. The screen is clear and easy to read, even on a bright day when there’s glare on the screen. It also seems to pick up a good area of coverage with plenty of depth too. From using the Fish Finder a few times, I’d say it appears to be accurate and picks up when there’s fish in the immediate vicinity or not. The casing and overall manufacture of the Fish Finder is excellent. It feels hard-wearing and strong, with plenty of protection to it, should you accidentally drop the device on hard concrete or whatever. It also seems to be relatively waterproof. I’m not saying you could drop in in the river or anything, however, I’ve had it out in the pouring rain and it worked perfectly fine during and ever since. All in all I’m incredibly happy with it. Well made, easy to use, and seems to really do a great job in informing you where’s good to fish and where’s not so good.

Good portable little product
This worked really well, I used it in France to map a very up and down lake I was fishing. Only criticism is the battery in the transducer ran out quite quickly, otherwise I would recommend this product.

A very versatile, multi functional clever piece of kit. Includes two types of finder.
I so wish that I had had one of these when I was fishing many years ago. This will assist you in not only finding fish but also checking out the terrain beneath the water, depth levels, and temperature. This unit arrived in a rather colourful box and inside the box the kit came in a nice plastic case which can be used for either keeping the kit inside or used for something else like storing bait or small fishing parts. It also arrived with two small instruction booklets relevant to each type of finder. Whatever you do with this finder don't use it in very shallow waters or artificial receptacles (i.e. reservoirs) as not only will you damage the unit but also with smooth artificial surfaces the unit’s sonar or transducer will not work properly. You need uneven surfaces for the signal to bounce around and reflect proper results. This fish finder comes with two types of finder, a transducer which is wired, and also a wireless sonar sensor, which to me resembles a yellow rubber duck. They both send back results but it looks like the transducer will send back more comprehensive data over a wider area. Each has their positives and drawbacks depending on how you are fishing, whether from a boat or static position. Just make sure you tie the finders on very well because you may lose it and it’s an expensive piece of kit, a good piece of kit. I will use this attached to my kayak. A fixed position is best to obtain accurate readings. The display unit can be very bright and is charged up by USB lead. It is encompassed with rubber and is quite rugged, it also incorporates a small aerial. It will take some learning to get the best out of this kit, but it will be very effective once used. This is a serious piece of kit, and you get the best of both worlds with the type of finders included. 5 stars.

Expensive but rather clever
This LUCKY Fish Finder is supplied in a branded box which contains the following; the receiver with a colour LCD screen, A sturdy plastic case to keep it in, a wired transducer, a wireless sonar receiver, a USB charging cable, a bracket for the wired sonar receiver to allow it to be fixed to a boat or a float and an instruction booklet. The unit is a sonar device which will help you map the depth and shape of the riverbed as well as showing likely concentrations of fish. It is not an exact science but takes some of the guesswork out of baiting and casting. I tried both the wireless and wired receivers and both worked well, the riverbed was as expected although not much fish showed up, there were a lot of people around making the most of the sunshine so it is not surprising. The screen was bright and clear which you need when you are outside and the device is simple to use with a pull out aerial and large easy to understand buttons on the front. You need to read the instructions to set it up if you have not used this type of fishing aid before but I found them well written and the device reasonably intuitive to use. This is an expensive device which will be useful for the committed fisherman or woman. It will not guarantee that you will catch more fish but it will help making informed decisions on which areas to target.

Four stars for now. Nothing more until I take it to the water and see about catching fish. After all that is the point yes? For now however.... 1. Packed and protected well. Even a nice screen protector. 2. No wall wart for charging of any kind. Which is fine. With all the USB charging devices hardly need one. Nice to have a notice of such as you can see. BUT there’s nothing in the instructions that tells you how to pull the charging port cover off and where to plug in the USB cable. While that isn’t a deal breaker or difficult to figure out, it should be in the instructions. 3. My pool is barely deep enough to use the device. But it is and it was accurate for the wireless transducer. Wired was not accurate. Did not really expect it to be. The picture is the wireless transducer out in my pool and using the device inside my home. Range is good. 4. Antenna is probably the most vulnerable part. Especially when out fishing. Will keep an eye on it. 5. Have it charging now. 6. The software needs some help in terms of being intuitive. Its not that hard to figure out but its not intuitive either. And it needs an “exit” option. Once you set it up it should not turn on to “Start Up” mode. It may not but I can’t figure out how to get it to stop. Settings are stored so you don’t have to reconfigure. But it should just start up after you’re all setup. As noted the software needs some tweaking. Will update soon after actual fishing trip. Need to dial in some of the sensitivity settings, etc., to make it easy and effective to use. Having both wired and wireless is of great value. Sept 1, 2018 update. Went to one of the local ponds at which they stock for community fishing. It is still too hot here to stock. Next scheduled stocking for catfish is end of September. Park ranger said have fun but there’s no fish. He thought the fish finder was very cool. While there weren’t a lot of fish, there were in fact some. I caught five catfish. Nothing huge but still, you catch fish it is a good day. The Fish Finder mapped the bottom very accurately wireless. I couldn’t use the wired transducer for this kind of fishing. Dialed in the sensitivity so it didn’t show me the bluegill and there they were, handful of bigger fish swimming by. Played with it throwing it out and mapping the depth, etc., and it was accurate. The map for these community ponds is no secret so I was able to compare to what I knew the depth already was. As for tossing out the wireless transducer..... I tried a couple of different ways including nylon string on a kite spool. Best way by far is a fishing pole with heavy line on it. Do not need anything fancy either. Short stiff rod that I rarely use and a worn out reel with 15lb test was the best option. One of those stiff short collapsible "travel" rods would be perfect. Wireless transducer range was perfect and for me it was out about 40 feet. I really tossed it out there. Review bumped up to five stars. Highly recommended for shore fishing. Will be testing it in a boat but not till the end of October. Don’t get a lot of ice fishing here in AZ. Park ranger was surprised I caught catfish by the way. Now for my complaints about the software. It does need some tweaking. The seller got back to me, nice of them, and for some stuff that I had complained about you do nothing. Want to exit an option? Don’t do anything. After a programmed amount of time the unit moves on, there was no input so you’re done. Which I get but everything else I have when you’re done, you do something. From my smartphone to my iPAD when I’m done, I hit something. Which again is not a deal breaker but its different. When you’re done, do nothing and give the Fish Finder a moment and that’s all you need. Don’t touch anything. For some of the other stuff, its hard to explain. If you had two of these kinds of things side by side, like the WAY more expensive Garmin's, and do a comparison regarding how the software works, the interface and options, then it would be much easier to see what I'm talking about. Again not a deal breaker but there is room for some minor tweaking that would make this Lucky Fish Finder even better.

Svår att ställa in. Manualen svårtydat. Borde visas i bilder hur man gör. Visar också t.e.x flötet som fisk, samt andra föremål i vattnet. Ville nog inte köpt samma igen.
