Review: They don't breath properly too little ventilation - Nice wide and soft shoe as was looking for but they have too much fake leather on them not allowing them to breath sufficiently. Not enough ventilation. They make my feet sweat not long after putting them on and a lot. Review: Extra Wide Hiking Shoes - I've never tried shoes like these before. These have an extra wide toe box and super thick cushioned soles. I've been wearing sandals for years because my feet usually go numb with regular shoes. Not having that problem with these shoes. My first impression when walking around in these, is how soft and springy the soles are. It's like they are adding a bounce to my step. It's an amazing experience for me. The extra wide toe box is absolutely delightful. My feet often swell up, when I wear shoes, so the added space is great, and keeps my feet from going numb. I love the soles, on the bottom of these shoes, in that they provide excellent traction, on all types of surfaces. It's exactly what I've been wanting, with an outdoor shoe. I didn't see any pictures of the soles in the advertising, so I provided a picture of the soles. Comes with a kit of inserts, so that you can adjust the arch support, and snugness of the shoes. Nice touch, that provides some value. I used the thin insert and the arch support. My only issue so far, is that some of the stitching was bad inside the shoe, so some padding is a little exposed. As shown in provided picture. Not that big of a deal, for now, but makes me worry about the long-term durability. Overall, I love the cushioning, soles, and extra wide toe box that these shoes provide. My only concern is with the durability. I'll update this review, if I have any more issues.

Good and Bad
Very comfortable for the first 3 or 4 hours, but then the soles of my feet start having a very bad burning sensation. Not sure why, but this is NOT an all day shoe for me.

Wide, cushy, comfortable, and very adjustable. BUT SOOO SQUEAKY.
Pros: These shoes are very wide, very plush, and quite comfortable. My normal size is 10 W or 9.5 4E from most name brands, and I got the "10 extra wide" with these shoes which fit nicely so I would say these run fairly true-to-size. The fit is also highly customizable since it comes with extra insole inserts which are placed below the plush insole. There is a 2mm insert, a 3mm insert, or you can combine them for a 5mm insert. This allows a significant amount of adjustability in size and lets you get that "just right" fit (when I first tried them on they felt a little too loose, but by adding the 3mm insert the fit was perfect). Overall craftsmanship is excellent with no defects or mistakes noted on either shoe. Cons: Despite claiming to be breathable, these are definitely warm shoes. Like "don't wear them outside in the sun" type of warm. I think they'll be fine indoors, or outdoors in cool environments. But I wouldn't recommend them for summer wear. Another downside is the fact that they use PU (faux) leather. For $120 they should be using real leather. Genuine leather is more durable, more breathable, and more environmentally-friendly in both manufacture and disposal. PU leather has no place on a $100+ shoe. But most importantly, and the reason I can't recommend these shoes to anyone, is that they are SOOO INSANELY SQUEAKY! Like it sounds like I'm walking on a giant pile of rubber ducks every time I take a step. I tried all sorts of remedies--changing laces, drying the shoes to bone-dry, using talc powder, rubbing petroleum jelly on the stitching, even heating and cooling the shoes to try to re-set the adhesive. Nothing worked. They still squeak horribly--like you step down and suddenly you think maybe you accidentally smashed a weasel because of the angry squeaking sound. It's unbearable. Final thoughts: Overall I really wanted to like these--they are comfortable, adjustable, and actually wide enough to fit a real foot without smashing toes together (something of a rarity in today's world). But the incessant and loud squeaking anytime I step down is a deal-breaker.
