This is the perfect cool tone pink/purple. Creamy, buildable, long lasting.

I bought this very same lipstick in August 1986. I was pregnant with my first child and when he was born I wore this lipstick for his newborn photos. Why would I remember that , you may ask? Because it was PERFECT. I’d never had a lipstick that was so perfect on me and I used it until I couldn’t get anything else out of the tube. Then I searched for Cover Girl Midnight Mauve in every place I went. There wasn’t an internet to search it on. I’ve probably bought every mauve lipstick I’ve ever seen to try and dupe it but never have. The internet finally was invented and I have done searches and never found it. Next month would be 38 years since I bought that lipstick and about a week ago I tried again just to see if someone had discovered a tube in some box left in their moms basement and posted for sale (YES that IS how much I loved it) and decided to put it into the Amazon search and I could NOT believe when it pulled up! The packaging even looks the same. I couldn’t breathe. No way. Absolutely no freakin way. I ordered it thinking it won’t be the same color BUT IT IS!!! It IS THE EXACT SAME!! I almost cried when I opened it!!! It is still absolute lipstick perfection. I was 17 when I bought that lipstick and Il’ll be 56 in November. Now if only I could find j.a.n.e. lipstick In Haywire I could die a happy woman! Someday, no time soon though because I have to use up all these lipstick I’ve bought!! If me searching for all those years for this lipstick isn’t a 5 star review then I don’t know what is. Buy this lipstick.

Love the product and will definitely reorder it, it’s just that the product was delivered a day late next time do not make promises that you can’t keep. I was looking forward to my order arriving yesterday
