excellent zero drop trainers
very comfortable zero drop trainers and a great wide toe box but not so big they look weird as you can get with other wider toe box shoes. My feet fit perfectly and have plenty of toe room.

Sports trainers
These trainers have done me well so far for use at the gym and on the treadmill. They are wider at the front so allow my toes some breathing room which I like as I've found other trainers to crush my toes. They don't quite provide enough cushioning for me to use these outdoors however for indoors they do the job just fine.

Barefoot shoes with padding, essentially
Third pair of Altras, still true to size. I now swear by this brand. I have Superior 4.5 for outdoors and Timp 5 GTX as a backup (they have a really thick sole) as seen from the picture attached and wanted something for everyday use. These black ones are perfect! They’re not in your face, have a slimmer sole and everything else that Altra is known for.

Very wide toe box, zero drop outsole, very well made.
My son has inherited my very wide feet and it seems to me that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find shoes that fit comfortably, almost as if shoes are being made narrower than in the past or perhaps my feet are just getting wider! It was with great joy then that I came across these purposefully made extra wide training shoes. My son has worn these running on several occasions now and reports that they are super comfortable and more than meet the needs of his casual jogging regime. The padding around the ankle is generous and the shoe in general feels robust and well made. It should be noted that these a zero drop shoes which means your foot is falling onto a flat surface with minimal impact cushioning. With adequate ankle strength and range of motion this should not be a problem but if you have flat feet or high arches then you may want to consider swapping the included flat insole with something more supportive. They are marketed as “Cross training" shoes and this probably explains the more general design; they will work for running but equally in gym. They are expensive but then they are a brand with reputation and these are very well made and should last. Also, it is worth paying the extra money for shoes which have width to match your feet. The consequences of squashing your toes in to inadequately sized shoes for years on end can cause a number of issues; I have some of these issues and wished I'd realised at a younger age.

Terrible design for your toes
Inside the shoe where your toes sit, on the top, at the point where the fabric transitions to the toe guard, there is a rubber/plastic lip, and every step I take my big toe nails catch the lip, silly design, completely impractical and not comfortable.

NOT BLACK
They’re not Black. More gray. If you want black footwear, pick something else.

Wide feet friendly and so comfy
Wow, I am super impressed with these. Well worth the money but I am getting ahead of myself! Comes in a plain but quite nice shoebox that is made of thick cardboard. It's good to know the shoes can be stored in there and will arrive safely so while it might seem an insignificant thing, it matters. The shoe quality in terms of materials feels very high. The bottom has a rubberised grippy style but very flexible as well. The shoe is light and padded and extremely comfortable to wear. You almost don't feel like you have them on your feet. There are two things that are outstanding to me. 1) They are wide:: I have wide feet which makes buying footwear problematic for me. I often have an impossible choice of either accepting my toes will feel scrunched but the shoe fits well or having a shoe that is a bit too large but my toes have a nice comfortable amount of room. I normally size up and just deal with it. Not so with these trainers! They are nice and wide and so I can wear my actual size and be comfortable as well. If you have wide feet this is for you! 2) The feel of them These are so light and so breathable. My feet feel so happy and comfortable. I've never experienced anything like it. This almost feels like wearing a sock. Some might not like this aspect of the trainers but I really like having such a tactile connection with the ground and being able to feel it. I really like how they feel. They are a bit more than I would normally spend but given how comfortable they are, the quality of the materials, they are breathable and light I would actually buy them at this price point. I would highly recommend them.

I love these new kicks manufactured with the highest quality materials and plenty of room in the toolbox for my feet. My feet are on the flatter side. They have had plenty of comfort, traction, and have been terrific so far supporting my feet on long runs or on the treadmill. The only shortcoming is that the tongue Narrows a tad towards the toe box but this does not compromise the quality of the shoe. It is holding up well, looks great and it's perfect for my multipurpose need when I work out.

The back of the heel caves in at every step rubbing against your socks and heel, that is why I returned it. It is a pitty because otherwise looks a nice shoe

A very high quality sneaker and the toe box fits my wide feet really well. Probably the most comfortable sneaker out of the box I’ve worn. 7 months in and they are still looking like new and I wear them every day for all sorts of activity from gym to bush runs.
