Highly recommend
Works great, surprised at how much air these little fans put out, plenty of length in wiring making easy for placement only thing is battery does not last all night. I have installed in my chicken Coop my girls free range from Sun up to sundown so I let them charge all day and use at night to cool the coop for them. I'm not sure what time the stop I only know their not running at 6am. I would highly recommend these great product great price. 4.5 stars

No storage battery
Remember, no battery, only works if the sun is out.

Its a great idea... it just falls a little short. Works in the DAY fine. Not so good at NIGHT.
So... I love the idea of this. And to be perfectly honest... I own two other units from the manufacturer that don't have the battery part. The entire reason I wanted the battery unit was because I needed to keep a chicken coop cooler in the evenings as well. The listing for this even shows it on sheds, dog houses, and chicken coops. So this seemed like a good idea and whereas maybe it won't run ALL night... it could run and keep things cooler and run during the day. that was the theory. Now for the unfortunate reality. To be fair... I may have gotten a bad battery BUT... I also talked to the Manufacturers Support and they essentially told me that this unit is made to either run during the day or run during the night... not both. For full transparency... I've also returned this. But I know other chicken owners may find this and MAYBE it will work for them... it just didn't work for us.Pros: Small. Built well. Easy to install. Simple to use. Moved a lot of air.Cons: (My) Battery does not hold a charge for more than 45 minutes. Fully charging the battery took 2 days. Cannot run both day and night.Now... I even used Grok to ask "I need a battery backed up Solaris system that will cool a chicken coop 24x7" and Grok responded with this unit... I can confirm it WILL NOT run 24x7. And even with a good battery... the manufacturer clearly told me this would not run 24x7.So why would/should you buy this? For day time... it's pretty good. Near as I can tell, the panels will charge the battery and the fans ALWAYS draw from the battery. The input from both panels is enough to have the fans run AND charge the battery. The advantage of this unit over the non-battery units is that the fans will run at full speed when the sun is out. The non-battery units tend to "pulse" even in full blown direct sunlight. So the battery helps supply a constant level of power to the fans tahat helps move a LOT of air for what they are.If you need something that can run off of the power at NIGHT... this is not the unit for you. Even with a good battery the manufacturer said it would work 4-6 hours. And then it takes ~2 days to fully charge again.

A good value and easy to install.
This is a very good product. It mounted easily, but the motors could have been a little more powerful. The solar worked great.

Works good for small spaces
Works great. I put these two fans in my garden shed there's no electrical outlet close. The solar panel keeps the fans going as long as there is sun. It's just enough air moving to keep the shed cooler. Not air condition cool but if I'm in there working, it's not near as sniffling hot. My shed is small only 4x8 ft but these little guys do the job. Of ypu want alot of air go with something with a bigger fan. But I don't pay electric to run these. And they cone on when thr sun hits and off when it goes down so I don't even have to think about them

Didn’t work for me but….
They would work well in a small grow tent or small greenhouse but mine is too large(10x20’) and it didn’t help airflow at all. When in direct sunlight blows very well. No battery so it only works when in direct sunlight. Cords are long and easy to install.

Ehh okay.
This is a great idea! Helps circulate air in the coop BUT after 2 weeks one of my fans refuses to work. Tried everything to get it to work and nothing. Also, when I received the package it didn’t come with mounting brackets, so we had to attach them differently to the side of my coop. Battery charge is okay. Doesn’t stay charged for very long.

Mixed bag on quality of fans
Mixed bag with this product. I bought two sets to keep my chickens cool. One set gave a great and strong wind and fired up right away. The other set gives a rather weak breeze; the fans also do not start on their own; I use a long chicken feather quill to reach in and start the fan blades twirling. Quality control needs to test their products =) So hopefully you will get a good kit when you order.
