Seems good outdoor multi-surface option, though not for plastic
Have not used this yet, so can't really say how well it works, so the 5 stars are tentative, and will try and update this once I've used it. I like that it can be used on different surfaces and the price is quite good, although for wood, there are definitely cheaper options available. Sky blue arrived well packed and sealed in little plastic bag in 2 days via Yodel, but for Purple Berry, I do not even have an estimated delivery date 2 days after ordering from Amazon directly, although it said it was in stock. Am giving info from the back of the tin to aid in buying decisions. Wasn't sure it'd show up well in photo, as is printed quite small. It's not all copied word for word, but it's accurate. What it can be used on: Wood, brick, terracotta, metal, stone. NOT for use on: plastic (see end of review for comments), cast iron, decking or areas that will be walked on. Coats needed: For up to 5 years protection and colour, you need at least 3 coats, more if painting a light colour over a darker colour. The 5 year protection and colour promise only applies to wood, hence the "up to". Coverage: On wood, using 3 coats, 250 ml will cover about 1 square meter, less on other surfaces. Dry time: Rain proof in 1 hour, allow 4 hours between coats. Preparation: Wooded garden furniture: If it's been painted or left outside, a thorough sand down. If new, a light sand. Wipe with white spirit to remove dirt and grease. Wooden sheds and fences: use stiff brush to remove dirt. Metal: Remove rust or loose paint with wire brush. Wipe with white spirit. Use suitable metal primer. Brick, terracotta, stone: Remove dust or loose material with stiff brush. Wipe down well. For pots, give a light sand. Using paint: Stir well before use. Test colour in hidden area. Brush in direction of wood grain. For best protection and colour, use 3 coats, and on smooth surfaces, sand down lightly between 2nd and 3rd coat. Leave 4 hours between coats. Leave furniture 1 - 2 days before use. Clean up: Can be removed from skin and brushes with warm, soapy water. I would add that, based on answers to questions from one person, that this probably CAN be used on some plastics, but I imagine it might flake, chip or peel after a while, although will depend on type of plastic, prep, exposure etc. I used Liquitex water-based spray paint on plastic bottles for a bottle tower for growing small veg/herbs with good results. I didn't prep at all, just cleaned with hot water, and sprayed directly on to plastic with no sanding, and so far, 3rd summer and colour is holding up well. This should come up as a product link for the paint I used for plastic: Liquitex Professional Spray Paint 400 ml, Brilliant Blue

Quick drying and brilliant colour for my scheme as well as a good size tin for the money paid
Beautiful fresh clean and thick paint, I used for my gazebo, I have bought around 4 or 5 in total as I don’t like to run out when I find new uses for it, I painted some metal buckets with a few coats and the plants are shown off beautifull

Lovely soft white colour
I needed outdoor paint to update and protect a wooden cow planter I bought. I did a shoddy job with the wrong paint the first time around (Pictures 2 and 3 - craft paint which discoloured and chipped!) It was also tired and dirty and damaged after attempting to clean it with a pressure washer (bad idea = wood damage!) I used Ronseal garden paint 250ml in white ash and cherry blossom. They didn't have the right shade of black I needed so I went with a different brand for that colour. The paint was very easy to use and the colours look perfect. I like how the white ash is not too bright, it's easy on the eyes. The cherry blossom colour is very pastel and needed about 3 layers and I painted that on thick. The cherry blossom is very pretty and not too garish. I did not need 250ml of the cherry blossom for that tiny bit of pink detail, so I have a lot left over. However, 250ml of white ash was enough for 3 layers of the planter all over plus touch ups. It made a nice base coat plus covered the old black spots. I did not varnish over. But I hope it stays pretty and protected for at least a couple of years. I'll update how it's looking in a year!

Finish is streaky
Used sundial on a yellow metal table top. Really easy to apply. But despite several coats the colour finish is really streaky.
