I got it as a birthday gift for my 11 year old nephew and now I bought two more. You can find these on the big Chinese distributor websites for less but then you’re waiting weeks for delivery, and you’re only saving maybe $10-12. If you do purchase from other sites be aware that the “standard” versions are the older models with torsion springs (cheesy little wires) instead of coil over shocks, brass bushings instead of bearings, no rear lights, and no gryoscope. Those may be better for children since they have rubber tires making them easier to control, but no drifting. You can also find plenty of upgrades on those websites like aluminum control arms and knuckles.It’s been a month and apparently it’s still fully working even with a 3 year old sometimes getting a hold of the controller and driving full speed into the walls so it’s quite durable for an rc. Their mom says it’s by far their favorite toy.Drawbacks are the method of adjusting the ride height, the silly little black plastic stoppers on the underside of the a-arms aren’t even similar enough to give even heights side to side. The lights are cool but there is a decent amount of bleed through on the surrounding plastic (not a big deal though). The wipers on every model I’ve received have been nearly impossible to get into the passenger side hole, I think it’s an issue with the plastic mold.Overall it’s a solid rc with tons of potential for fun.
