Handy little workhorse. The stud/metal/AC modes are amazing—as long as you move it slow. Finally can get rid of my stud finder. The thermal camera is great for spotting hot spots and it’s fun to use. Laser distance/area measurements with multiple features is an awesome replacement for my distance measurement tool. Moisture checks and electronics measurements are for my future exploration. Battery life’s solid, and you can even save pics. Only knocks: menus take a minute to learn and the thermal resolution is basic. It would be nice to have a tripod coming with it. :P

Lots of great features and most work well. Unfortunately the one I really needed it for seems to be glitchy. Not sure if it's a bad unit or just a general issue.

Update…. The company contacted me and provided a replacement unit. Unit came with no damage. All functions are working. I checked distance and centerline against other devices and it is very accurate. The stud finder also works well, I like the visual display. I have not tested the thermal imaging or moisture neater yet. Appreciate the customer support! Really like the concept but first one I ordered the laser did not work. Returned it and the second came with broken display. Quality assurance is non existent.
