I recently bought this dual laser distance measurer for some DIY projects around the house, and it has been excellent. The device is very straightforward to use, and the readings are consistently accurate, which makes measuring large rooms or awkward spaces much quicker than using a tape measure. The electronic level is a useful feature, especially when hanging shelves or pictures, and the Pythagorean function comes in handy for measuring distances indirectly without having to stretch across tricky areas. The range is impressive, covering up to 120m, so it’s more than enough for any home project. It feels solid in the hand, and the screen is clear and easy to read, even in brighter light. I’ve been using this around the house for a few days while putting up shelves and measuring furniture gaps, and it’s been spot on every time. The readings match my old tape within a couple of millimetres, and the dual lasers make lining things up so much quicker when you’re working alone. The display’s bright enough to see even when the light’s not great, and the built-in level helps keep everything straight. It feels light but well made, and the rechargeable battery saves a bit of hassle compared to swapping out disposables. The only thing I’d change is the buttons could be spaced out slightly more as they’re a bit fiddly if your hands aren’t small. Other than that, it’s been a solid little helper that’s made my DIY jobs far less frustrating.

I have only tried this on 2 rooms, which I double-checked with a tape measure afterwards; I measured length and width to get the square area in both rooms it was spot on. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to use it, but after that, it was very simple; I've yet to try angles with it but I feel confident it will be of great use to those requiring those types of measurements; I only need it for the square meterage of a given room. The overall quality is good, but I do think this needs to be much more robust; it feels like one or two drops would be the end of its life, and with daily use, it would be inevitable it will get dropped. In conclusion, for me, this will be great to use occasionally, but if I were still in my flooring profession, I would be concerned about the longevity of this due to not being robust enough. It's a great tool, though, that works perfectly.

ordered this laser distance measurer for some renovation work around the house, and it’s turned out to be a great decision.The dual laser feature is super handy when I need to measure bigger areas or tricky spots on my own. It also saves all my last measurements, which has been a big help when I’m moving between rooms and don’t want to keep writing everything down. At the begging I was a bit confused how to use it properly but the manual is made very easy for customers to understand.

I was indeed challenged by wife after purchasing this item. It was the usual “what do you need that for”. I wasn’t quick enough with my answer because I hadn’t had the opportunity to use it. As a retired surveyor we often went out from the office in pairs to measure rooms internally or parts of buildings externally. As there were two of use the person who held the starting end of a tape used to call it “the daft end” because no further thought was required jotting down a measurement or winding it in for the next measurement. If you are on your own you can, with one of these laser measurement devices, do both jobs. No-one at the other end of a tape being told where to hold it. This, for me, was the perfect solution for measuring a distance where it might be awkward to hook on the tape before pulling it taught. My greatest danger from now on will be forgetting that I have it and picking up the traditional tape measure.

Laser weak and doesn't reach under 80 feet (24.4 Meters) operation is difficult not easy to follow, display very small and symbols even smaller than you think.

This product has a unique feature unlike my previous one is that it comes in with 2 laser measurement systems on each end, each laser does a reasonable 60 meters which gives a total of 120m this is when standing in the middle measuring from both ends, the only problem with that is say I wanted to measure the distance between a house and a tree that are 120 meters apart then I'd have to stand 60 meters right in the middle line that goes between the two, this becomes impractical when there is an object (a house or a lamp post, or anything) in the middle somewhere preventing from measuring, it's unlike standing from the beginning and going all the way from the starting point until a good dot is found for measurement. It's a good tool, I found it useful when measuring from a high ceiling to the floor whereas I don't have to kneel and touch the ground to measure upwards, as the system can be placed from my standing position, one laser does down measure and the other does the upward one. What I found "Annoying" about this tool is that when I switch the system into "one laser" mode, I do measure, but then once done it switches back into the dual mode,. which meant more time in the field pressing more options and buttons than focussing on the job. What was "Hard to do" is attaching the carrier string to the unit, I tried my best to push the tiny string into the designated hole but that was not coming out from the other end, eventually I had to use a pin or a micro tweezers to pull the thing out. The plastics are not great, looked a little cheap, but it was compensated with a good colour OLED screen. The "Accuracy" is not 100%, I know measuring my office is 8.18 meters, the system was reading 8.08 instead, with longer distances it becomes much harder to read if standing in the middle due to the laser line becoming into a triangular reading instead. It works, I liked that it was USB chargeable, came in with a good manual and a cable, but due to the functionality I explained above (which I am sure it can be fixed with an update somewhere), and accuracy issues, given the price and compared with others on the market I don't think I can fully rely on this just yet.
