I purchased this stroller to use as our compact travel stroller. My main criteria were compact fold down size, ease of folding down and opening, and decent suspension/ Wheels for a smooth push. Overall, I am very pleased with the Metro 3! It is a fairly nice and compact size- I mean it's not nothing, but compared to other strollers it's very reasonable and fits nicely in the car. It is super easy to fold up and you can definitely fold it up with one hand. Opening is a bit more tricky, as other people have commented I do think opening requires two hands. Thus far the wheels seem good, I haven't had it long enough to test their durability long-term, but it's very comfortable and fairly smooth to push. The storage underneath is not giant but is adequate for my needs. It seems fairly comfortable for my baby, decent padding, and I find the straps really easy to use. I did realize after purchase that my baby is at an age where having the ability to parent face is ideal in crowded situations, but there pretty much is not a compact stroller on the market that allows this option!

I love the Ergobaby line of products! This stroller is pretty easy to open and close and super cushiony for my child. I love how the canopy opens and covers a huge amount of sun when it extends. Also love that it sits more upright than most travel strollers (a lot of them have a recline that eventually makes the child slouch a little). It’s great for kids of all ages because of its newborn safety pop out and lays pretty much completely flat (which most travel strollers do not). When folded, it fits right in front of the car seat foot area so space is not wasted. It is on the heavier side of travel strollers but not terrible to carry because of the new shoulder strap. Weighs just as much as the Uppababy minu v3. I was between buying either and decided on this one because of it lays flat for nap times, is much more squishier for comfort and because it comes with the rain cover, cup holder, and bumper bar (which Uppababy does not). It claims to be small enough for overhead cabin storage, but I haven’t travelled with it….. yet ;)

Love love love!!!! I was between two strollers the Uppa baby minu 3 and this for our upcoming 6 week trip to Spain. We will be living our day to day there so I didn’t want a Cybex or Gp pocket which could have been good for my tall daughter. Also traveling alone with 2 kids didn’t want to deal with the way those strollers folded. In the end I couldn’t justify spending $549 on a stroller so I went with the Ergobaby Metro 3. It was still a lot more than I wanted to spend on a stroller in general but just what had to be done for what I was looking for. I needed something that had a tall back so my 3 year old who is 42 inches tall could get it in sometimes if tired while my 1 year old is in the carrier. Needed something that sat a bit more upright. My son likes to sit upright in our other strollers but they aren’t so he leans forward. Has a big enough basket for our supermarket runs, all the things we need for the park including stuffing a scooter under, blankets, balls, water bottles, etc…Summer in Spain is also brutal. Hot sun! Large extended canopy is a plus! When I got the stroller I didn’t really like the tiny strap on the seat to hold the stroller. It looks like over time it could become too worn or break from the load. The shoulder strap on the Uppababy almost made me lean in their direction. Anyways I bought a scooter strap(Wildken Rhinowal $17.99) and while the stroller itself has a bulkier fold it’s now as good as the Uppa and way less money even with the purchase of the strap. Once set up the strap isn’t really in the way at all. Definitely carrying on the shoulder makes the stroller feel lighter and frees up your hand! For all you parents who have a tall toddler this stroller is great. My daughter’s legs don’t look awkward at all in the stroller. The foot rest is nice and wide. Ergonomically seems like a very comfortable stroller for both my son and my daughter. The quality of the material has a premium feel to it as well. The near flat recline is a plus. I don’t really care about this feature. We have survived without it no problem. Overall stroller is a great investment. I can continue to use for a few more years with my toddler and if I have another baby. Also for these infamous Disney trip stroller requirements people keep talking about when we go to Disney in the future. I’m super satisfied. My only cons: The bar in the back where the basket is. Could prevent larger bags from easily going under the bar. But you could put bags in from the front with the foot rest up. Bulkier- A bit concerned they won’t let me try to put in the overhead bin taking one look at it. It looks a bit bulkier in person side by side with a carry on suitcase. The carry handle in the seat. The one handed fold and open took a bit to get used to. More so the opening and getting it to really pop out and stay. It was sticking at first and not fully extending into the locked position. That has since resolved though as you can see in the video.

I wanted to love this stroller, the quality was fantastic, the stroller rolled nicely. The fold was easy but the unfold was difficult. At first I felt like it was getting stuck. Then I learned it really takes 2 hands to unfold due to my height. You have to throw the bottom out then pull up the top because it’s very top heavy. I would buy this for the future for a toddler but I wanted something now they was easy to get in and out of the car to throw my infant seat on.

Just got this and trying it out on our first vacation with our 4 month old. So far so good! Love the: -size -adjustable handle -easy close -large canopy -far back recline -large basket The opening mechanism could be better as it def requires two hands and is not smooth but for the price it is a minor inconvenience. This stroller really does stand up to its pricier opponents. I recommend trying it!

I bought this stroller because I needed something compact to stay in my car and to take on errands. I was using an Uppababy Cruz originally but I got so tired of lugging that thing in and out of my car. I was initially concerned that a compact/ travel stroller wouldn't be comfortable and the quality would be subpar. I've been thoroughly impressed with the Ergobaby Metro 3! The value is there - it is comfortable, feels sturdy, handles smooth and the fold/unfold is extremely easy. I initially got the Metro + Deluxe because of the savings offered once the Metro 3 came out - but I was unhappy with the quality and handling, that I splurged and spent the extra money on the Metro 3.

I absolutely love the Ergobaby Metro 3 — it’s been my go-to travel stroller on multiple international trips and has never let me down. It’s compact, easy to fold, and fits in most airplane overhead bins, which makes airports and transfers so much smoother. Even though it’s lightweight and travel-friendly, the seat is surprisingly comfortable for my child, with a cushioned seat and a near-flat recline that’s great for naps on the go or just to change a dirty diaper without needing to go use a public change table. The one-hand fold and adjustable handlebar are brilliant for juggling luggage and kid gear, and it’s sturdy enough for everyday use around town too. I’ve used it on pavement, smooth sidewalks, and in busy terminals — and it’s handled everything with ease. It’s also newborn-ready with car seat compatibility for our airline travel days. Highly recommended if you want a reliable, travel-ready stroller that truly delivers!!!

Literally butter, drives smoothly very comfy. My son literally loves it it goes for it when we going for a walk or I see him laying in it without me having to push him back to lay down (other strollers I have to fight him to lay back). I also love that the accessories are included with this one, amazing stroller and so lightweight and doesn’t take up trunk space which I love and not bulky like the travel ones.

Had a more expensive stroller and was worried about it getting damaged during flight. Intended this as a backup but it works so great we now keep it in our car and use it for all outings away from the house! So easy to open and close and doesn’t take up much space. Baby finds it very comfortable and loves how the seat can lay flat for naps and the canopy can extend far.

I loveeeee this stroller, i traveled with it 4 times and had no issues. I took it to cabin and was able to easily store it. Very good quality and very comfy for my baby. A great purchase

Amazing value stroller! I've spent weeks researching strollers online, watching every single video review, and trying them out in person and I kept coming back to the Metro 3. I love the full flat recline, upright seatback, bassinet mode, adjustable handle height, deep canopy coverage that wasn’t too close to the face, magnetic peek-a-boo windows, great quality materials and cushioning, and easy to carry handle. The fold can be finicky, but the fold is really one hand and the stroller self-stands. Many more expensive strollers tend to tilt away from you when you fold them. What I needed: - Tall backrest - Easy enough fold - Adjustable handle height - Lay flat option - Very upright seatback Other strollers I considered: - Uppababy Minu 3. The seatback wasn't upright enough and for the price, I wasn't getting any more features. The fold wasn't the smoothest anyway, plus it folds away from you so you have to catch it with your other hand. Once folded, there's no good way to hold it except with the shoulder strap (too-long to use to put into the car) or with the stroller handle which feels unbalanced. - Bugaboo Butterfly 2. This one had a great fold (although it does tilt away from you when you fold it), but the seat is so reclined that my baby would be lifting her head all the time. Also, the seatback is not reclined enough for a comfortable nap. - Joolz Aer+. Loved the weight and size of this, bu the seat recline zipper is too finicky. Also didn't like that you have to insert 5 harness pieces every time. - Inglesina Quid 3. This was similar to the Metro, but felt higher quality, but was not much better to justify the price. The harness needs to be rethreaded. - Guzzie + Guzz Oxygen v2. This had the best fold and unfold of any stroller we tried and it worked like butter every time. This was surprising because it was half the price of everything else. We would’ve bought this stroller, but the seatback height was too short and the stroller itself felt too narrow. Loved the magnetic buckle and ventilation is similar to the Metro 3 on this one. - Peg Perego Selfit. This stroller was on par with the Guzzie+Guss with the best fold/unfold experience, but the canopy was too shallow for us. Improvements: - Magnetic harness strap - Include some accessories (even a bumper bar would be nice) - Easier fold/unfold that doesn’t “catch”. Sometimes the fold button gets stuck so to fold, a trick is to not lift up on the handlebar, which puts tension on folding system. Also, when unfolding, press the button before trying to lift the handle unfold the stroller. Also, it helps when unfolding to get the front and back axles apart as they tend to want to stay locked together. - Wider back wheelbase so it doesn’t feel so tippy (although many travel strollers feel tippy and I think I just need to adjust from using a full-size).
