The mat’s surface is pretty smooth so its functionality as a mousepad is good. It’s also useful in trading sessions to be able to look down and have that reference. Pretty good product, bigger than I expected though.

This is a fantastic product—well made, informative, and extremely helpful for understanding candlestick patterns making it a great reference tool. ***However, I did notice a small typo on the upper right hand side where it labels the bearish candlestick patterns as bullish. It’s not a major issue, but something to be aware of. Overall, highly recommended!
