The company is one of the only companies I have seen that admits a shortcoming in flash memory technology of gradual self erasure by quantum tunnelling (Though they put this in laymans terms on their sites FAQ) and back up the card with a 5 year warranty and claim a retention time of up to ten years which is what I would expect from TLC/QLC flash. As it is a 5-year warranty and likely are not using bad quality NAND. They even give advice to do a full format after ten years and recopy the data and advise making a backup. This ten year limit will be the same for TLC/QLC of most manufacturers, unless its a pro endurance or pro type card with ECC or pMLC (think SanDisk Max Endurance). I have no idea if these Integral cards use ECC to boost that figure. You can get a bad apple in every bunch regardless of brand, so keep backups. A Quality budget option you won't go wrong with. It seems they stand by their product and their marketing is *realistic*. As a budget option that is not pMLC, I would not use them for mission critical devices or if I want to abuse them with sustained heavy writes in such a dashcam environment, but will use them in all general purpose applications like music or a smartphone that is mostly read than writes, or in an occasional digital camera. I filled it with music to play in my car. It worked very well with no skips or jumps. I then deleted the music and filled it with photos and videos, these again worked very well with no loss of quality from the original.
