Works well with Canon EOS M50 and Canon FD lenses
I use this adapter to connect my Canon EOS M50 to vintage Canon FD and FL lenses (35mm, 50mm, and 28mm). It works very well. I like the way the adapter blends in with the camera and the lenses and I am happy with the images I was able to get with this setup.

Good Price and Good Fit
This nicely made metal adapter fits my M200 and T2 lenses well with no threading issues. The interior of the adapter is flat black, so it should not cause any unwanted reflection problems. The adapter locks properly into the Canon M200. It comes with a small hex wrench in case you need to change the T2 Mount rotation. Note that the small wrenches that come with these various adapters do not necessarily have the same set screw sizes. I noticed that the screws with this adapter did not use the same hex wrench as as a T2 to Canon RF adapter that I have, so you need to be very careful not to strip a screw by using the wrong size. Some of these adapters also have a slotted screw, which can be very easy to ruin. There were minimal instructions that came with the adapter, but you really do not need much. (See attached picture.)

Giving Old Lenses New Life
Honestly, I have had this in my shopping list for far too long. I should have bought it so much sooner.THIS IS TRUTH:I used to shoot on an old Pentax K-1000 35mm, the one my dad gave me when I was maybe 13. I took THOUSANDS of photos through that camera and discovered a skill/talent/love/whatever for photography through those lenses. In the digital age, I'm sorry to say, that poor little camera hasn't been used in 15+ years. Now, I am no pro, but I have been featured in competitions with some of my work going to auction...but again, I'm no pro and those lenses haven't been used in a very long time.Fast forward to me finally pulling the trigger on buying this after 2 years of "should I?", I kid you not...once I saw my old Pentax lenses on my new Canon, I had tears running down my face. For the first time in over a decade, I am able to revisit the love of photography that I had as a teenager 20+ years ago. This little adapter is worth every single penny plus more. If you want to adapt lenses to a body you own, do it without hesitation. I swear, you won't regret it. I should have purchased it the day I saw the listing, that's my only regret.

Works, but may have to unscrew tripod quick release plate first to unmount adapter
First, it does what you expect. This lens mount adapter cantilevers and holds the weight of a long lens, including additional accessories, without stressing the camera's lens mount and/or tripod mount. Yay! As you can see in the photos, I tried it with an old Rokinon FD mount 80-250mm zoom lens. It also worked with that same lens with both 3x and 2x teleconverters mounted at the same time, with a total mass around 32 oz (2 lbs). It worked with the 2 TCs, though it sagged a little, but I think that may have been the plastic Quick Release Plate flexing in its seat. However, depending on your Quick Release plate, you may not be able to quickly release your camera from the adapter to mount a different lens. When I try to rotate the camera and adapter, my tripod's 1-3/16 long QR Plate hits the camera body and prevents it from turning far enough to clear the adapter from the camera's lens mount. They could have designed this adapter's tripod mount to angle diagonally forward, or tapped the tripod screw farther forward to provide more clearance. All together, it's a good product, but with one minor irritating quirk. If you buy it, plan your camera moves accordingly.Photo captions1 - Canon EOS M, Fotasy FD to EF-M adapter, Rokinon 80-250mm zoom FD lens2 - Canon EOS M, Fotasy FD to EF-M adapter, Rokinon 80-250mm zoom FD lens, closeup3 - Canon EOS M, Fotasy FD to EF-M adapter, 2x TC, 3x TC, Rokinon 80-250mm FD zoom lens4 - Canon EOS M, Fotasy FD to EF-M adapter, 2x TC, 3x TC, Rokinon 80-250mm FD zoom lens, closeup

Inexpensive, works well.
Got this for my eos-m to use vintage lenses and magic lantern for 4K and 5k raw video. Once I figured out how to adjust the set screw in the side to align the lens rotation it has been perfect. This is my only adapter so I can’t compare to more expensive ones. Definitely worth the money!

Add life to your vintage FD lenses
Decided to wait a few months before writing a review since I wanted to actually put the product through the paces. I have four FD lenses from my Canon AE-1. The 50 mm Canon lens fits with no issues, the other three off-brand FD lenses will fit, but not as easily. I've not spent enough time examing each one to compare everything between them. As for the fit onto my Canon M50, no problem with it and no problem with the actual lens. I have had to turn the camera off and back on to use the manual aperture control on the lens at times and I did have to remember to make the needed adjustment in the M50 configuration menu to use totally manual lenses. With the live view mode on the M50 it is great to use these older lenses and see what the image looks like in real-time. While I won't use all the lenses a great deal, it was great to pick up something that was able to bring life to them and save some money by not having to buy new lenses.

C to EOSM mount won’t focus
C lens to EOS M camera is not usable. No focus, apparently is a common flaw. Best bet is buy nameless model off eBay, this one won’t work.
