To be honest, I've never tried salep before. I was just exploring Amazon, international cultures, also that I love Turkey, and I came across another brand's salep. I go research it, and this food blogger described it as the best thing she's ever drank in all her years. I found out that it has a TON of health benefits, and sadly that it is rare and endangered. Which appealed to me even more, not to partake in bringing down a species, but that this might be the only time I ever get to try it. Every brand out there in my search back on Amazon brought up either fake Salep products or premade with tons of other unhealthy ingredients. This was the ONLY organic Salep on Amazon, no reviews, super new, certified organic. I felt both lucky to have come across it and excited to get to be one of the firsts. Ordered a couple days ago, received today, seller chose FedEx and super fast shipping! Packaging was very appealing, as well as left a sweet note inside of gratitude. PLUS TWO FREE SAMPLES of ceylon cinnamon (which I needed to buy but hadn't yet, to make this drink) and turmeric, again both organic, and veryyyy generous samples. I am truly so grateful for this company and their commitment to a high quality product and attention to detail in every aspect. They even put the recipe for the drink on their packaging, yet somehow it still looks so clean and simple! And at this price, yes it's pricey compared to other powder products on the market, but also not really in the organic niche, especially for such a rarity... I do not hesitate to buy more, I'm already considering it! Mostly for the health benefits but also a rich cultural experience.
