Hydroponic Oakleaf Lettuce Seeds - Navara - Pelleted - Certified Non-GMO NFT DWC (100 Seeds)

4 out of 5 seeds sprouted. I only germinated the 5 because was not sure what the lettuce would look like. This is in my hydroponic tent. Will be transplanting as they have grown nicely in the seed tray.

I bought these for my AeroGarden Bounty that I purchased in 2016. At that time, I planted five pods because I wanted them to have lots of room. Only three germinated, but they were delicious. Unfortunately, the tops dried out and that wasted a lot of lettuce. After that I lost interest in the whole project. This time, with the left-over seeds, I planted all nine and only two have germinated. I have a couple of lovely plants and again, they are tasty. This time I have raised the lights up further and I see they aren't drying out, however, I went ahead and replanted the seven that didn't germinate (dropped a new seed in each of the pods)... nothing!Before I planted the nine I soaked the pods in distilled water for a while. I also think the coating on the seeds is a little heavy and not dissolving easily.Love the lettuce but don't know if it's worth the effort when I only end up with two plants. May try some new seeds just in case that's the problem. Just don't know yet.
