Peet’s is a very good alternative to nepresso original capsules. Nice amount of crema and it’s strong but not bitter tasting. Seems to not reduce the dispense flow from my machine like some other knock off capsules I’ve used in the past. Wish these were as widely available at the stores as keurig K cups. IMO, nepresso is superior to keurig in every way, except pod availability.

Strong brew without bitterness. Perfect for ristretto, espresso or lungo shots. It is my new go-to pods for my Nespresso Original!

We started off using Nespresso pods and were very happy with the coffee. Because Nespresso is not conveniently accessible, we began trying other options. Several came in plastic pods, which were not pressurized, some compostable, others not, none of the coffee was quite right , some were worse. We tried Peets and find the quality of the 100% aluminum pressurized pod matches the Nespresso pods and the coffee is delicious. Only recently, I noticed that the delivery received last week, expired 2 months ago. After looking at the rest of my boxes, I noticed some are dated prior to when I began purchasing the Peets pods, so, clearly, this is not the first time Amazon sent the expired product. I am unable to notice any difference in the coffee, so it seems they hold up well stored in my pantry in a moderate climate. They may not fare as well in other conditions.

I used to order different Nespresso pods, trying out various brands, but once I discovered Peet’s Original, I’ll never go back! The flavor is rich, bold, and smooth—everything I want in an espresso. Every shot pulls perfectly with a thick crema, delivering a deep, satisfying taste that outshines all the others I’ve tried. Yes, there are cheaper options out there, but the extra cost is absolutely worth it. You can taste the quality in every sip, and for me, that makes all the difference. If you love a strong, well-balanced espresso, don’t waste your time with anything else—Peet’s is the best!

The best of the Peet's espressos in my opinion. Not bitter strong like their 11 intensity, not underpowered like their 9 intensity. Good tasting and smooth with no unappealing aftertaste.
