Easy to use, very sturdy. Folds up nice.

The sage color is absolutely beautiful — soft and calming but not dull at all. One of the best parts was that it came already assembled in the box. All we had to do was unfold it and decide what shape we wanted — which made setup incredibly quick and easy. The wood feels sturdy, the lock is secure, and it gives me peace of mind while my baby plays. Highly recommend!

I like the versatility and mobility of the gate. However, the plastic connections of the gate fail regularly. Most recently the latch used to open the walkthrough gate has broken rendering it almost useless. For $200 you would think it would last more than a few months. Also it comes with equipment (plastic) to mount to the wall to secure the wall, but only 2 when 4 are needed to properly and safely securing the gate to the wall. Price vs Quality/Longevity is poor. ****UPDATE****02/08/25 I changed the star rating from 1 to 4 because of Customer Service and Comfy Cubby’s standing by their product. I was able to contact their CS and asked for a replacement latch. After sending them pictures of the issue and the product SN, they immediately sent out replacement parts at no cost. They got here quickly and it was easy to remove the broken piece and apply the replacement, remove two screws-take off part-put on replacement-reinstall the two screws. Like I said previously, I like this gate unfortunately the latch is still plastic, I feel that could use an upgrade, just the latch material not the mechanism. Otherwise they would have received 5 Starts and unabated raving. Hope this update helps.

Actually a good conceptual product but a few things that need consideration when in use that could make this dangerous for your kid. Let's start with the positive: 1. Great customer service 2. Actually a decent design/folds nicely/locks nicely Now the negative, read carefully: 1. The locking pin at the bottom of the entrance gate is screw on, as you open/close the gate it slowly comes loose and falls out. This is an extreme chocking hazard. I hand tighten it every week to make sure my kid does not accidentally get it in their mouth. This is dangerous if you don't pay attention. 2. One of the poles broke when my kid was learning to stand up. I heard, was sitting beside little one so no issue/danger. Saw the break, huge danger if I was not close by the kid. I suspect mfg defect, I checked all the other poles, everything was good, no problems since that one. Check yours, look at picture and decide. 3. Locks mechanism to hold position. Now this I'm reached out to customer service about. When we first got it and locked/unlocked the position there was this white grease everywhere. I of course cleaned it. Over time thought everytime you open and close it there is a small layer of grease you can feel it on your fingers. Mfg said it is a zinc layer to prevent corrosion, google says Zinc layers are safe unless it's a grease format. We saw grease and will proceed with caution as our child likes to put everything in its mouth. 4. Every screw on this was loose when we got it. I had to hand tighten everything. I really want to love this product, and despite exceptional customer service, and getting a refund on the product I cannot go on in my life with other people using this for their kids not being aware of these real risks that could hurt their little ones. I hope their next iterations deal with these issues, and perhaps the manufacturer is misleading the company. Don't know, it's none of our business as consumer. Just be aware.

UPDATE: The seller has been fantastic in replacing my defective gate and the new one is much better quality. They recently updated the locking mechanism on the gate and I think that is a big improvement too. 5 stars for great customer service. This gate is very cute and has helped me keep my toddler contained. I’ve enjoyed it so much that I actually bought 2. But one of them seems to be made so poorly and the joints keep breaking. When that happens a ton of small parts fling out of it making me scramble to find them so my baby doesn’t put them in her mouth. I have contacted the company about the defective breaking gate but their fix is to send me a “repair kit” with a very long and detailed process to put the joint back on with all of the little tiny pieces and I just cannot get it to work and I’m getting really frustrated.
