The instructions state that you should wash them by hand and dry them right away. I am assuming that this is because the knives might not be as durable as other knives. However, since I always wash knives by hand, this isn't an issue for me. And the price is incredible. How does the manufacturer make a profit at such a low price? The handles are so well made. I cook at minimum twice a day so these have had extensive use with zero issues. Amazing value.
