Got it for my car because it’s braided and braided is traditionally longer lasting than only plastic wrapped. That being said I bought an Amazon Basic lighting cable that wasn’t braided which I still have and use it for my iPad. Amazon does a really great job with these cables.

These are great cables. They are long enough to put behind the couch or to reach over in bed. Good value!

I use this cable specifically for Android Auto in my car. I have found basic USB 2.0 cables to be more reliable for this purpose than many fancier cables supporting USB 3.0 or Quick Charging etc. Quality seems good, it's not too thick but fairly stiff out of the box.
