My harrowing tale aside, this thing is awesome. You can make all kinds of shirts, craft projects, mugs, hats...you name it. If vinyl can adhere to it, you can make a custom thing. And it's fast - real fast. I cannot believe how quickly it cuts out letters and complicated designs. It also seems to be really well made. All the parts I've handled seem sturdy, and while it *seemed* intimidating at first to my wife, switching out tips, loading and unloading, and using the software is actually extremely easy. Mine was too old to use the cord to install the software, and wasn’t finding it with Bluetooth. Good excuse to upgrade and my laptop and it now works perfectly!
