These sauces are very good. The pineapple one really tasted salty. I am hoping that it's better since I shook it up quite a bit. They shipped quickly and if they are not salty I will buy them again.

The best sauce around
The stuff is amazing. It goes on anything white rice, fried rice. Chicken goes on tacos, everything it’s the Magic sauce, highly recommended and well worth the money.

Great sauce. Grandson uses it with almost everything he eats with noodles, chicken. Great flavor.

Sweet pineapple for the win
Bachan's Japanese Barbecue Sauce 2 Pack is a unique flavor exploration of what "bbq" means to different cultures. In this case, the Japanese take on bbq sauce tends to be very - and I mean VERY - heavy on soy sauce. While that's not all that unexpected, it's not entirely pleasant for me personally. I don't love soy sauce, and due to its sodium levels, I try to avoid it as much as possible. In addition, these bbq sauces are much thinner than the American version of bbq sauce, which tends to quite literally "stick to your ribs". The thinness of the sauce, reminiscent of the soy sauce itself, is probably best suited as a marinade or brushed on lightly while grilling. I will say, however, the the sweet pineapple was the winner here. The flavor was very good, not too sweet, but with a little spicy kick to it. It was really good over ribs, and I think it would be great on chicken, wings, or even burgers too. I do think that $23 for two bottles of bbq sauce is too much, especially when I wasn't a fan of one of them (my husband didn't mind it though). If you're looking for a Japanese-style bbq sauce experience, I think these will deliver on your expectations.
