Review: Works perfectly between my UCG-Fiber and USW-Pro-48 - I bought this HiFiber 10G SFP+ DAC specifically to connect my Ubiquiti UCG-Fiber to my USW-Pro-48, and it has worked perfectly. Installation really couldn't be simpler. I plugged it into the SFP+ ports at each end and the connection came straight up. It's been completely reliable since, with no messing around with transceivers or additional fibre cabling. For equipment sitting close together in a network rack, a short passive DAC like this makes a lot of sense. It keeps the installation tidy and provides the 10Gb connection I wanted between my gateway and main switch. The cable is specifically sold as a 10Gb passive DAC with Ubiquiti UniFi compatibility. It also feels well made, with secure connectors that fit nicely into the SFP+ ports. Most importantly, though, it just works. That's exactly what I want from networking equipment that gets installed in the rack and then largely forgotten about. Very happy with it and excellent value for money compared with some of the branded alternatives.
