It is a fantastic product if you need to add moisture to your reptiles. Habitat, you do have to respray it with water often. Though it does retard mold growth.So it's a great product

This moss really expands. We used it to layer over reptile soil. We only needed about 1/4 of the block to cover 20 gallons.

I've tried a few other types of coco noir and nothing compares. This is truly the best for tortoise habitats and I won't stray again! It's finely chopped, so it's not stringy, it holds up for 6+ weeks (I do spot cleans in between) and it doesn't stink.

Rinse it. Dear god, rinse it several times. I did not rinse it the first time. Smelled so awful! But I rinsed it three times with distilled water until the smell went away. After that it was perfect. Used for a snail enclosure, and was very happy with it after I got the stink to go away. I was surprised how much there was once it was rehydrated, was able to cover the entire topsoil of the 30 gallon tank.

It was fine, worked well the aquarium. I should have bought 2 packages. I got more at a garden center (for use in hanging baskets) and it was swarming with thousands of mites once hydrated. This product was mercifully free of that.

Absolutely perfect for my ball pythons naturalistic enclosure. Looks great, doesn't have any weird smells, and was pretty cheap!

My son's leopard gecko, loves this stuff for her hide.

My Ninja ornate wood turtle loves it. It's very easy to use and a little seems to go the miles. I didn't have to use a lot in a 40 gallon tank as it expands when spreading it around the aquarium. It's worth the money as I've stated it'll last awhile as the quality matches the purpose for the environment I'm creating for Ninja. The block and size of the moss will last it has provided extra moisture when it needs more of a humid temperature. The size of the block and for keeping my turtle comfortable I'll purchase in the near future as needed. I completely recommend this product for anyone who has repitailans needing this kind of bedding and environment.

Good quality moss, if can get back alive in the right humidity, I love it!

I’m so impressed with the quality of this sphagnum moss. I’m using it to include in the background of my bioactive vivarium, as well as incorporating it into the substrate of my snakes home. Opposite to all other dried sphagnum moss I’ve ever seen, this has a gorgeous green colour which lends itself to be used for backgrounds and general highlights throughout the Vivarium. It’s a really hefty block and will last me for quite a while.
