It will dry evenly on a flat level surface. If you are applying it to a vertical surface, gravity will pull it down and it could drip or become uneven. To counteract this effect you will need to direct a compensating air movement from the hairdryer, at an appropriate angle, to counter the effects of gravity and speed up the chemical reaction. You can also try several very thin applications meanwhile keeping the mixed epoxy in the freezer to slow the chemical reaction in between applications. **Q: May I add pigment for color match?** A: I have done it with other epoxies with success. If you try, mix the pigment into the white vial contents until you get the correct shade then mix the clear liquid hardener last. **Q: Can i use this epoxy product (bottom coat) as a filler and use porc-a-fix enamel (top coat) to get my custom color?** A: I don't see why not. I used it after sanding some rust at the drain in the kitchen sink and then covered it with cutex for the color and it's working very well (4 months). **Q: Will it fill a small hole on the side of a porcelain sink (3/16in or 0.5cm)?** A: It is possible, but you need skill to do it. It might require multiple steps. First, fill the hole and quickly place a piece of tape over it to hold the epoxy in place while it sets. Then, remove the tape, after it sets and scrape it with a blade. Finally, apply a thin cosmetic finish coat and use a hairdryer to blow gently upward to counteract on gravity and keep the Epoxy from running downward. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You almost can't see the repair *by D***R on Reviewed in the United States on 25 May 2021* The photo shows the repaired sink; the spot I fixed is in the upper right side of the sink at around 4 o'clock. The photo was taken about ten days after I made the repair. If the lighting is just right and the sink is completely dry and you know where to look, you can see the repair. You can't see it in the photo. The end result exceeded my expectations.I know that some other buyers have not been as successful with this product. Product works great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost wonderful *by S***D on Reviewed in the United States on 21 March 2022* I have an old farmhouse style sink that I had professionally restored several years ago. The paint developed a small crack line that eventually chipped off. Rather than going through the professional process again I found this epoxy. Watched the video on YouTube and followed the instructions to the T. After the first coat I noticed the paint ran down and puddled at the bottom of the chip. I blotted it with a paper towel to remove the excess. I let that dry and then did the 2nd coat. Same thing happened. The paint was a bit thicker for the 2nd application but it still puddled. I blotted it again to remove the excess. Then I tried touching it back up with the brush. Still somewhat puddled but rather than making a bad matter worse I left it.
